One of my favourite ways to teach the shape of this technique, visible and exaggerated, really simplifies the concepts for newcomers especially
Some great ideas in this, good little series guys
when my shoulders were injured I trained like this a lot,
Hope this is useful for at least some of you!
My instructor loves this technique so much he "wooden" let it go.
Keep stick'n to the basics.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
that's terrible, even by your standards mate lol
👍👍
Saito sensei used this methodology frequently.
my jo has started to warp in the heat, it's got a discinct bend in it now - does anyone here have any tips on how to straighten it? it's japanese white oak
I've heard of people steaming them a dns lowly bending back toi shape, then let it dry out thoroughly and re oil
find a plastic tube slightly wider than the jo, tape the end up and hold it over a boiling kettle it should straighten out
