Indeed, the Great Mahiki is S tier due to its Rocketeer inspirations. Matau got the worst downgrade in his mask design when he turned into a Turaga. For me the most Iconic masks are the Hau, Mask of Time, Ignika, Mask of Creations and Mask of Control. In many ways, these were the posterchild masks for Bionicle, be it Generation 1 or Generation 2. Yes most of these represent Legendary masks (or in Hau's case it was the substitute symbol for the Great Spirit before they designed the Ignika) but they are also iconic due to their designs.
The Volitak is an S-Tier mask and anybody who says otherwise is lying to themselves
