I got a $350 fine for doing a U-turn where I shouldn't have despite there being no cars around. This person faked cancer and has been lawyered not only out of prison but hasn't paid one cent of the deception. Where's the justice lol.
No one gets fined for faking cancer. She was fined for lying about charitable donations.

When she was at her highest my mother was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and my sister would follow this fraudulent person she would cook healthy meals for her. Thank god I told my mom to follow her doctors plan and it’s also good to eat healthy while on treatment and moving forward. My mother and cancer survivors should get recognition and praises not her. God bless the patients and their families that did not make it through their journey’s.

The sad thing is some people have run out of options for treatment. This "thing" comes along and gets their hopes up only to basically steal their money. My dad passed away from cancer and this makes my blood boil as i know how hopeless it felt when i was told your dad has 6 months left.

Belle Gibson was an early social media influencer, at a time where social media scams weren't nearly as rampant as they are today, this was when Instagram was in it's early stages of popularity. Therefore, alarm bells weren't as sensitive and individuals looking for any hope of survival turned to this advertised alternative lifestyle as a means of hope and healing their terminal illnesses, due to the popularity and trustworthiness Belle had garnered in her brief time as an influencer. Aka, desperate times call for desperate measures. She is a pretty face, which also helps gain trust easier. I don't believe Belle is a con artist by trade though, there is something about her eyes that have an emptiness about them. I truly think she is ill and doesn't understand what she's doing most of the time. She is like a robot in her interviews.

My nephew is 25 he is going through chemo now I find this despicable and I believe they should have locked her up instead of trying to make her pay an impossible fine because she did pray on people looking for hope people take desperate measures in desperate times
@Blue Skies thank you for your well wishes and I hope you are well I love my nephew and I hope his Treatment Works it has hit my brother and our family very hard and yes I do wish that she would have to go through the same treatment as you did so she knows what it is like to go through it but taking everything she owns is not making her learner lesson or giving her a bill she should be made to help and watch people as they go through their treatments so she understands what she has done was morally wrong I hope you take care thank you again

They’ll never get that money out of her, it’s a waste of time. Making her assist cancer patients receiving treatment would probably be another waste of time, she seems to have no empathy, or morals at all. I say lock her up for a long time.

And not long before this, she was boo-hooing about not being able to afford the fines she incurred for faking cancer. There are some things that I just have literally ZERO empathy for, and adults who knowingly pretend to have cancer when they don't fall under the heading of people I could not squeeze a tear out for. However much she's "suffering" right now, I promise you it's nothing compared to the millions every day who get told that they really do have cancer and have to struggle emotionally, physically, and financially to get through it.

This is the second time her house has been raided. The first was in 2020 before the pandemic hit.
They didn't take her bed and couch. One does not need any of the things you mentioned to have a job.
She claims to be $170K in debt in addition to the fine but as you can see from this video she's still happily walking around in designer clothing. Which is actually mostly what was seized in these raids.

As someone who actually went through chemo/radiation, watching her on that 60 minutes was painful to watch. Maybe had she some sense of humility or guilt, this might have gone a lot smoother. Though I would never wish harm upon another human being. Here's to hoping she comes to admitting her faults.
i'm a cancer survivor too and here watching aftermath news services of the story , because i tried watching the whole interview but it was too much to digest to sit through.
Part of me wants to know why she lied about having cancer to begin with.

I had cancer: no one believed me for years! I had doctor's call me crazy, tell me they would shrink, etc. I ended up having a hysterectomy and having to go through chemo and radiation; and this woman has the nerve to walk through a crowd with a smirk and don't care. Some things I'll just never understand!

I know a young girl that has been scamming medical professionals for years and even trying to sue her family for damages and going through all these crazy ordeals purely to get alot of money! she says she has PTSD and a mostly unprovable illness called fybromalgia!! (probably didn't spell it right lol) she has on multiple occasions told me to my face that its all bullshit, but she has been doing it for sssssoooooo long and actually taking the medication to the point of being addicted to the strong pain killer medication, which sent her a bit loopy as well!! seriously no joke!!...... I really wish humans could record with their eyes and show others the recordings because this girl has been doing this for ssssoooo long it would literally make me look crazy if I told anyone the truth that she is doing all of this because she knows the literal numerical amounts she will get if all goes well with her lies...... alot of money!! which im very confident she will receive!! ect: writhing on the floor screaming in pain saying her bones hurt and she can't live with the pain and calling the 000 ALOT all the time to the point she has developed a relationship with a few paramedics...... then joking about it when high on pain pills n marijuana....
surprisingly I have heard similar stories from other people throughout my travels in life....... its a very very very surprisingly common thing among young girls between the ages of 15-25 apparently!! manipulating the government and medical professionals to basically get a free pass/money through life without lifting a finger.
