cars 2 had a good direction with showing the international types of racing but people didnt like it for the spy plot. the spy plot and different areas of racing kinda just gave the cars brand a leap forward from stagnation but it strayed to far from the original for people

I love that Weezer did this cover. Ric Ocasek, who was one of the lead singers of The Cars, produced The Blue Album. It kind of feels like they were doing a little tribute to him. :)
This movie wasn’t even all that bad rewatching it after all these years. It’s not perfect but it wasn’t garbage as people made it out to be. Not the best of the trilogy but certainly wasn’t trash. 6/10
