Gate 2 was pretty lit. Aside from the Piper sub-plot that was not explained at all, the coup d'etat by Zorzal was great, I totally loved the Rose Order's stand at the Jade Palace
What i like about this and the 1st opening, is that it has a little bit of HOTD vibe, i really love all kishida kyoudan & the akeboshi rocket's song bro!
Fun fact: The part that goes "riseiteki na kanjouron nante oroka mono no yume da ", sounds a hell of a lot like the verse of Fairy Tail's fifth OP, "Egao no Mahou" (the section starting from "Mondai darake no").
i always liked the potential this anime has. Like, magic exists and can be integrated with modern science. Moral decisions about being the bigger person when you can easily steamroll these people but decide for the diplomatic approach. Hell, they even briefly touch upon the medical consequences of possible STD's that arise from banging cross-species prostitutes. We just need more episodes

For example: during this season, many(a lot!) things happened with the mc/girls while traveling to mage city and towards meeting the others at the capital for the rescue operation, that were not actually shown. Another is when the mc is pulling the cart in disguise and Rory lashes against him, saying its revenge. Those who payed attention probably thought: "revenge for what?". It was actually one of the scenes not shown, that happened on their way to the capital. MC took advantage of Rory's power boost whenever she's close to a battle with certain amount of death. Rory's aroused and mc makes her carry their humvee to cross a very narrow path around a cliff. Then you understand, when the mc is pulling the vehicle...
Is it true? A-1 is seriously abandoning GATE just to continue SAO? This is the best anime I've seen ever! So addicting! Also, is there anywhere to download these opening and ending songs? (Who's hoping so badly they release a season 3 in 2020 or something but knows they most likely won't ;-;)

It's not a masterpiece but if you want to see how long people with fantasy/medieval technology can stand against today's military technology and live with it yea give it a try. The characters are really basics tho especially the mc but Im sure you'll find good waifu material in it. The story is alright I guess with,as I said before, an original "Isekai" concept and also nice fight scenes -the ost isn't that bad tho (Rory Mercury's theme especially who really give some Dark Souls vibes strangely) I won't say it's good or bad, I'll just say it's enjoyable.
