Baj bahadur did not belong to Mughal Army. Akbhar sent Adham khan to defeat him and then Rani roopmat ji consumed poison after the defeat.
Adham Khan was then also killed by akhbar. He was son of Maha mangha as shown in movie Jodha Akhbar

Only rani roopmat pavilion and baj Bahadur palace are a bit far on the other side of the city.... Rest are very nearby at walking distance... Several local guides at mandu will help to understand the history better
