My brother took his life 11 years ago aged 31 , this song is so beautiful and comforting , another lonely Christmas without him but never forgotten .

Why is this not played on live radio this year. Its brilliant not just for the tune but that fact we can all come together and do good things as this choir proved.
I found this version by accident but what a version, well done to all who made it possible. Being from Walthamstow myself hearing music from East17 always brings back good memories and respect for bad ones, This song (Original Version) helped me through a very dark time in my life and will always be the song that live rent free in my mind. Its a Shame the band don't work through the issues they have even just to bring some positivity into todays climate, but who knows , Just wanted to comment its a beautiful version of an already great song, well done WFYC!

yeah ...both singers are excellent ..and they restrained themselves from falling into that vocal gymnastic trap ... just delivered what was necessary.

The fact two of the lead singers have gone through the Music in Secondary Schools Trust (MiSST) programme clearly demonstrates the benefits of providing free music tuition early in your education. Let's hope this goes to No 1 in the charts.

Tony was the musician lyricist and backbone. Brian was lead singer, not sure what John or Terry did bar Dance🤷🏼♀️ it even says on on of their early videos Terry he can dance a bit but can’t sing 😂

O wauw back in the days I never understood the message of this song. I thought it was about missing love, not about suicide. Gives me real chills. Awesome done!

Good to see the song being used with the sentiment it was written as instead of just a Christmas jingle which most saw it as originally.

Your sound is amazing, I cried from start to end, it brought back great memories of my teenage years, I sang it to my girlfriend years ago to stop her from going and it worked, I love this track, I'm so proud of these great voices, all the kids here should be on Britain's got talent, I would pay too see you perform

Such a good version of this beautiful song. Suicide is devastating and being closely affected by it I would have liked to see this get No.1. I felt it would have had a good chance had it been promoted more. Tony Mortimer is definitely an under rated song writer. He has written some great songs but this is the best. I only just discovered the meaning behind it and it makes it even more beautiful but its hard to listen to.
