My friend Zameer the reason why Nikitas restaurant has this rock portraited a a lion is that this rock according to Cretan mythology was one of the lions of the chariot of the titaness Rhea the mother of Zeus that was petrified, the name of the village Lentas derives from greek Λέοντας Lion, and the ancient name of this location Levin/Levina ΛEBHN/ΛEBHNA derives from mycenaic Greek ΛΕFENA (Lewena) Lioness.

I was in Lentas for the first time in 1991, i keep coming back there, the next time in September! You can just relax there! We are always on Dytikos beach!

Thank you Zameer for another wonderful video. I love the things you said at the beginning. Ever since my first trip to Greece 25years ago I have been telling people that no matter how many videos they watch or beautiful pictures they see of Greece and the islands the thing they cannot experience is the smell of the air, the trees and even yes even of the sun itself. Also pictures do not enable you taste the air that you breathe on the islands away from the towns. Only by being there and experiencing these things can anyone really appreciate the true beauty of Greece. Keep well and keep up the good work.
