I actually really like the aspects of both of these variants ( gonna display them both with the PNSO Trike doyle based off the AMNH 5116 skeleton)

Great review, David! I'm SO hyped to get this thing (and hopefully that's soon). I get what you're saying about the paint quality, but I still prefer this thing's paint to what we got on the Giganotosaurus, because even if it has better quality, I still don't like that thing's colors. Now this thing though, this thing looks amazing! I've flip-flopped on this a couple times, but I've decided I'mma get the Dominant variant first. I do still like the Cryptic one and I'll probably get it eventually, but especially after seeing this review, I am just in love with the way this variant looks. I only just now noticed the maroon-ish color they included over the hip and behind the frill, it looks SO nice! This might just turn out to be my favorite figure of the year, as well as my favorite figure of my favorite herbivore. Once again, great video. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

What is that supposed to mean?
Wishing for more ceratopsids from Eofauna, the brand I like most and obviously I wish an Eofauna version of T.rex or any large tyrannosaurid figure.
Great review! I also prefer this version over the cryptic, which is ironic as I'm someone who loves brightly colored dinos.
Thanks Delta! Yeah there's just something so satisfying about Dominant's color and pattern choices.
3:06 I think that is not smudged detailing on the side of the face (I can’t imagine Eofauna being that sloppy), but done on purpose, like a keratinous sheath (which would not be scaly, but more smooth). But I guess it would be more logical or consistent if Eofauna would have taken this keratinous sheathing a bit further, for example more around the eyes and on the frill. Maybe they missed the mark a bit there. Interesting, too, how there is still debate on how far the “cheeks” would extend towards the beak. This depiction does look nice and believable. Anyway, overall a very nice figure indeed.

I read there’s still debate about whether it’s a different species or a different age of an existing species. It’s confusing whether it’s a transition form or a Horridus.
It really has a interesting design, coloring is ok, well the coloring is kinda strange to me, It’s defenendly because of the face but the rest looks good,
It’s like if it’s from AoT, the face of the cryptic looks a lot better but the rest of the body looks...😓 yeah it’s just as strange like the dominant one.
But yeah both are still pretty cool.
sometimes I don’t get it with some theorists with their own logic with, that bigger animals have less hair or color, well depends for what reason you use them and not only what they are related too or even what size, sometimes they even forget that there are modern harry & colorful animals, like bisons & Yaks that use Furr for the cold, Even some big extinct mammals like
Woolly mammoths & rhinos.
But theirs also lots of colors, like crocodiles & giraffes that use it for Camo,
All of these animals have some kind of hair or coloring on their body’s for a some sort of reason.
That kind of theme is something I already am planing to talk about on my channel In the Futur

I want to buy one figure from this brand, they’re really good and accurate, but which one you recommend me to get first?
I recommend the Atlasaurus as a starting point- it's one of the best dinosaur figures ever made, I think every collector should give it a shot!
