It sucks that Starline was too busy fighting Amy and Rouge to hear Tails calling him a "Eggman wannabe". I would have loved to see how he would react to that, especially considering his character development in Bad Guys.
I could see how it plays out:
Snaps his head at Tails, "Listen you Fox! That short-sighted man is far from my vision of the future n-OW!"

I like Sonic and Amy’s interaction with each other. Sonic doesn’t really mind having Amy in his presence, it’s adorable :3
Amy has always been almost as important to him as Tails is; he just didn't like her squeeze-hugging him as tight as an anaconda's grip. Amy has since become more respectful toward his feelings and keeps her hugs more gentle; and Sonic has become less apprehensive as a result.

the comics have made amy and sonic’s interactions so much better than in the main series in my opinion
It’s definitely baby steps, but it’s good to see Shadow is starting to be developed back into a hero instead of a Vegeta clone.
I love how not only does he go out of his way to save innocent civilians in this comic, Shadow even shows an abused child some compassion. I kind of hope that Dark Chao become Shadow’s Chao.
facts its small but Shadow is showing care and concern for others. Too bad he acts like a tsundere

Shadow wasn't as bad as I was afraid he would be. He is getting slightly better (I can see the archie Shadow in him a tiny bit). I think this was a good issue.
All in all my favorite shadow is SA2 he was more Expressive to his friends and his memories of Maria and then became a very positive attitude. But now he's just copying Vegeta's personality

Some people may say that cream saying “What the heck” is a writing mistake, but, I call it surprise character development. Also Amy is in big trouble.

Good on Sonic for apologising to Belle and nice to see Omega finally not being a head (let's see how long that'll last lol!).
I honestly feel bad for the writer's tho, they HAVE to put Shadow into the narrative but CAN'T give him major character development which just leads to him being a plot device that comes and goes as the plot demands (still looking forward to seeing what becomes of Dr Starline's "research" now that he has Tails' DNA).
Honestly I think Shadow was a tiny bit improved in this issue.

Now that I’m thinking about it, I feel like Starline is going to try and make a clone of Tails, not just because of the DNA thing but also because I would’ve preferred the “whole specimen”, I mean it would probably be easier to clone someone if you have the whole person. As to why I feel like he would use the cloned Tails for building and designing different robots or projects that could combat either Eggman’s robots or Sonic as well as possibly infiltrating areas kinda like mimic but without any imperfections in the way he looks or acts, or possibly also use him to frame Sonic and Tails so Eggman would still be oblivious to Starline’s actions. Most likely won’t happen, but could be interesting if it does.
The starline empire continues with complications but get job done nonetheless

You know, seeing Sonic apologize to Bella for being rough on her reminds me of a brother-sister kind of thing. I especially relate to that little moment with my younger sister. She's essentially my best friend, and sometimes, we have our differences, but we console and forgive each other in the end. That's why I feel like it had a big impression on me. :)

the fact that TAILS is about to play a HUGE ROLE in the upcoming arc.... IM FUCKING SOOOOO EXCITEDDDD !!!!! Hes been my favorite since he DEBUED ! since i can remember ! i LOVE when they put the spotlight on tails, he has SO MUCH to offer.. truly such a lovable character, as the rest of the franchises characters... they ALL have a soft spot for me & this IDW comic has been doing their THINGGGGG displaying each & every characters true personalities & AMAAZING character interactions... CANT WAIT to see whats in store next !

This was an epic conclusion. The Best part for me was when Starline went for Tails but the fox pulled on Belle's Tail making her kick him in the face! Genius! Also, it looks like the theory that Mister Tinker made Belle is turning out to be true. Though it seems she's still hesitant to tell that he was her creator. I hope as her character developed she starts to open up more.
Yeah I loved that part too🤣, it was almost unexpected, bell's reaction to tails pulling her tails was great 😂 "oh my"
I'm thinking that since she's a robot, she doesn't acknowledge her creator as Eggman because he was calling himself "Mr. Tinker" when he built her.

Starline will be back for Tails, I don't think this is done. Yes he got some of Tails fur, hence DNA, and yes he could be either cloning Tails, or making some robot version of him, but I think it goes deeper then that. I mean if he just wanted DNA he could have just stuck with the fur, and gotten that at any point. He actually wanted the full Tails. As in capture him. He literally says "the whole specimen would have been better". I think this goes beyond cloning and Metal Tails. I can't wait to see the next comic.
Now, THIS was worth the wait! Everything about this was just great! (You guys saw how Shadow gave that chao an apple, right?) Thanks for posting this!

I wonder what Starline needed with Tails’ fur? Is he planning on cloning him? Did he need a DNA sample to get into some resistance base? Is he planning on planting that as false evidence for the next time he breaks into an Eggman base?

I feel like something happened that made Shadow forget himself again. Not literally, this time, though, but more philosophically. Rouge is trying to help him remember, but it's a slow climb.
His hatred for Eggman, and his associates by extension, are what did that. He's so wrapped up in taking down the villains that he has forgotten the reason why he is doing so in the first place, or so it seems at least.
Some head canon of mine is that the reason Shadow has been acting like this (other than because of Sega mandates) is that he sorta blames himself for the events of Sonic Forces and the creation of Infinite. As laughable of a villain Infinite was in that game, Shadow was the reason he snapped and started using the Phantom Ruby when he first beat him. So now Shadow sees himself responsible for the war and copes by taking out his aggression on others and acting very Vegeta. It’s not a perfect reason but it does help me tolerate his characterization right now

A random thought, but I'm curious as to how the Chaotix are going to react to Belle in the future. Especially Espio. They were the ones who investigated Mr. Tinker, and Espio was the most hesitant on letting him go, so to see a robot built from that same man could lead to some... interesting reactions.
I don't know. It's too early to say and I might be overthinking this.
I think Charmy will really love her since he liked Mr.Tinker a lot. Espio might not trust her consider what happened to Tinker which led to both Charmy and Vector becoming Zombots. Vector, I dont know.

I think it could be that most fans are focused on a other media like the mainline canon.
It could also be that not many fans don’t know this channel exists and believe they need to physically buy the comics which is something that not everyone is willing to do.
Finally, I think that most fans were interested at some point, but left because they don’t like the direction that the comics go in.
If anything, it could be a combination of all three or something else.

Side note: who else finds it funny to see Starline in a bath robe with a live laugh love mug on his desk.
Actually at 1:09. Rouge knocks some sense into him. So it doesn't come out of nowhere, but I still don't like how shadow is portrayed here or recent media.
And no matter what Sega does to him. I will always love shadow.

I really think he was thinking in the greater scope. Either he suspected that EVEN MORE people would be in danger if he let Starline get away; or he considered Starline to currently be his only lead to Eggman, whom he KNOWS is capable of worse. There's also the consideration that he probably thought the others could handle it. The only thing that really bothered me was that he said "Not interested", as if he WANTED Sonic to think he doesn't care.
I love Shadow and Sonics relationship on these comics. Maybe they don’t chat a lot together but will aid each other when needed.

I love how Cream is the leader of the Chao (2:10). If she was in the game and her final smash is that... she would be the most powerful and broken character in Sonic games

Wow, they referenced the Shadow Chao from SA2 you could breed if they were dark and had a high enough run stat.
Not sure what Starline needs Tails for, but I'm definitely interested to see where he's going with this. Long live the Starline Empire!

Yeah... With every issue that releases, Starline gives me more of a reason to think he's scarier than Eggman.
I’m glad Sonic admitted to his mistakes to Belle in the issue, too bad we never saw a proper fight with Starline and the tri-core.

Well Amy and Roger kicked him on a few places, he got a nasty kick in the nose , got hitten by a big pile of snow and probably got cold. In my opinion he got a pretty good beating.
Also : I think that even is Belle eventually tell the gang about her past we will still see more of in the annual 2021.

Pretty good issue. Sure, Starline was cliche here, but we see him take samples of Tails's DNA. Probably Tails clones or so may come soon.

This was pretty cool. So I'm getting two things from this issue:
1. Belle was created by Eggman back when he was Mr Tinker. Because he's back to being evil, she's having trouble accepting they're the same person.
2. Starline wants Tails for some evil plot. Since he couldn't get the "whole specimen," he took some of his fur. Oh God... Are we getting a clone saga?
I don't think it's going to be a cloning thing, because why would he need the "full specimen" for that?
@@shadowshade904 (this is just a theory) probably it is easier to clone with the "full specimen" but since he couldn't get it he would have to deal with what he has.
I was under the impression that she doesn't recognize the name "Eggman".
So I have a really out there theory as to what the test tubes could be being used for. I wanna note that we know Ian Flynn and Evan Stanley both have a habit of reviving old Sonic media and giving them fresh coats of paint (ie. Breezy in the Archie Comics, Team Hooligan, and the idea of Trocore technology in IDW). Secondly, we know that Starlines project is probally going to be biological not mechanical, given that its a hair sample. Also note that we've only ever seen TWO capsules. With all this in mind I think we could be seeing Sleet and Dingo from Sonic Underground return once more. Tails DnA would probally match the most given that their both canines and that for what we've seen in the capsules so far its only been bits of particles so far. In Sonic Underground an ability that Dingo had was the ability to transform into different objects, perhaps Starline needs Tails DnA in order to stabilize their genes? I'm not really subscribing to this theory myself but I think its cool to think about :)
Also, as for the "whole specimen" deal, I suspect Starline wanted to have Tails on hand so that he could harvest his DNA whenever he needed it. Bad move, if you ask me. You get the feeling that Dr Starline, is trying to be like Thanos. He is gathering powers from our hero’s to use it as a weapon against them.

I can already see it- belle was a toy robot made by Mr Tinker which is why she understands eggman’s code and when eggman sees her he’ll start questioning himself, just in time for starline to step up as the real bad guy.
So I have a really out there theory as to what the test tubes could be being used for. I wanna note that we know Ian Flynn and Evan Stanley both have a habit of reviving old Sonic media and giving them fresh coats of paint (ie. Breezy in the Archie Comics, Team Hooligan, and the idea of Trocore technology in IDW). Secondly, we know that Starlines project is probally going to be biological not mechanical, given that its a hair sample. Also note that we've only ever seen TWO capsules. With all this in mind I think we could be seeing Sleet and Dingo from Sonic Underground return once more. Tails DnA would probally match the most given that their both canines and that for what we've seen in the capsules so far its only been bits of particles so far. In Sonic Underground an ability that Dingo had was the ability to transform into different objects, perhaps Starline needs Tails DnA in order to stabilize their genes? I'm not really subscribing to this theory myself but I think its cool to think about :)
