Aye aye aye was actually not part of the written song. It was a sound Ozzy made on one of the studio recordings. He said Aye once. They echoed it into the track afterwards and there it stayed
That is why you should react to the original videos of artists, as Ozzy does the "Aye, Aye, Aye". Liliac rocked this song from the start to the finish.
Not sure what version they listened to but they did say it wasn't in the version they listened to.
They listed to ozzy doing a cover of ozzy doing crazy train. They reacted to thier reaction of ozzy during the live stream. It really sounded like a poor cover of the original

There is a video on RUclips, that shows Ozzy's son showing him this video, and Ozzy tears up, because it's a new generation playing and exposing others to his music.

I grew up next door to a musically talented family, the mother was an opera singer and a music teacher, who could play the piano and guitar, the son was my best friend through high school, we moved next door to them when I was 12, and he was already in a rock band, that practiced just about every day, it was like a party every day, his main instrument was the drums, but he could also play the piano and guitar, that band play local gigs all over locally, that family has had a great impact on me musically

The oldest is Sam on lead guitar. He was about 18 in that video.
They always had huge crowds when they played in Santa Monica.

They have done a ton of very good covers like Joan Jett's "I hate myself for loving you" and Metallica's "Enter Sandman". They have also done their own songs, hard rockers like "Mars" and Slower things like "Sail Away". I would suggest you go down the rabbit hole and watch some more Liliac. The Group name means "Bat" in Romanian (Both of their Parents were originally from Romania).
Man, the guitarist in that put a lot of effort into matching Randy's playing in that song. I know a lot of people don't like when people cover songs exactly like the original artists, but I gotta say that's impressive, especially for a kid that age. I've seen plenty of people cover this song on guitar and they usually can't match Randy entirely in tone or inflection. This kid was almost 100% spot on. And funny enough, the minute instances where he sounded a little different reminded me of Zakk Wylde lol
He's influenced by Randy Rhoads and Zakk Wylde so that's not surprising. Zakk Wylde even pulled him after a show to talk guitar with him. Some of his other influences are Eddie Van Halen, Vivian Campbell, Kirk Hammett, and Paul Gilbert.
@@jonathanwatson5818 well yea obviously he's influenced by them. Lots of people are. But being influenced by someone doesn't automatically make you able to recreate their sound near perfectly. Its definitely an impressive feat.

@@moonlitegram Check out Liliac- Mars (Live in Cumming GA), Chain of Thorns, Crazy Nights, Vertigo, Hit the Lights, and We Fight, We Fall for some of Sam's best original solos. He's imo the best lead guitarist under the age of 24 and in most of those he was younger than 21.
Liliac is a great band, mostly because it shows siblings how much fun they could really have with each other if they just find some common ground!

Melody does have a crazy, gravely voice. That’s her regular singing voice. Tons of covers and originals. Pull up “Mars” from their performance in Cumming, GA 2019.
They killed it, they also do a Dio and a few other covers, they've been around for a few years now. And by the way, the original did have the ,aye, aye aye, intro. Love y'all and keep rocking.

Liliac is amazing! They are an Independent family band that does covers and originals. Currently aged 14-22. Sam (Lead guitar 22), Abigail (Drums 22), Melody (Vocals 20), Ethan (Bass 15), Justin (Keyboard 14). They work hard and are so professional, they love what they do. Their dad is their manager, producer, filmographer, and mixer, Sam edits the music videos, Abigail comes up with the artwork, they all come up with the lyrics to their originals as a family.

This cover is from 3 years ago. So they were significantly younger than they are now. Melody has some of the best vocals I've ever heard, sure some people don't like her raspiness/growl/grit but for me personally I love my Metal vocalists to have those qualities in their voice.
She's awesome, every bit of her vocals hits hard
That intro "ay, ay, ay," WAS in the Ozzy original.

This band are all siblings , 2 girls , and the rest are brothers. Ranging in age from 14-19
They are really good live. People keep seeing them as a cover band but they have original music. One of my favorite is "Dancing in the Dark". You should check that out.

I'm a HUGE Liliac fan since I saw them on youtube a few years ago. Oh, and that, "eye eye eye eye" at the beginning is indeed in the original ozzy song.
Their covers are amazing but their original songs are out of this world. I suggest you start with Sail Away. Melody's vocals will give you chills

I could only imagine playing at this level when I was 16, which was 10 years before Ozzy's came out. In '80, I was playing too many solos for the punk and even new-wave crowds, but I still had a helluva little band. Some of my old students could, and do. Playing's something you'll always have, even in your back pocket.
All that said, definitely gonna wade into some more. Hell yeah!! They killed it, exultant, glorying in the awesomeness of this moment of FIRE!!

I saw Liliac in concert in 2019 when they opened for Loverboy. They are the real deal. Melody has the best female rock vocals I've heard since, well, the 80s. Joan Jett, Janis Joplin.....Melody is right there with them as far as vocals.
I Love Santa Monica / Venice Beach. You never know what you are going to see or meet .
They have some incredible covers like Dio's Last in Line, Metallica's Master of Puppets.. but they're stuff from their last album is amazing. Song/video's like: Mystery, We are the Children, Sail Away, Dear Father.. all originals and all really really good songs.. the young boy that was also playing guitar, plays the bass now and the singer, just sings.
Dad is a music producer. They have been doing this since they were all young and have all had music lessons. The earliest videos were under the name of The Cristeas - which is well worth checking out so see where they came from. The earliest videos of Melody singing she was 11. They performed on the peer almost every weekend - imagine doing this stuff live when in your early teens. And by the way... the Aye Aye Aye is in the original song.

That intro most definitely on the original. I saw this tour with Rhandy Rhoades playing guitar on August 9, 1981 in Cape Cod. Def Leppard opened.
I don't know how you guys choose songs to react to, but if it's by donation mostly, which I have to imagine it is because of how huge your channel is with subs, then my thoughts are if you have time check these kids out more. So much more to find out about them. They're already making a name for themselves among other big bands who are looking them up and some talking with them one on one. They are 50/50 cover band/Originals. Their originals are top notch influenced by their idols of the 80's rock bands with a modern twist. But if you do react to them, many fans and new listeners will be in awe of how good these kids are.
Each one is so talented. Their father is a music producer himself and now manages and produces them. He gave them each an instrument years ago while working with other artists and it morphed into them playing pop music at 1st then rock later. The guitar player also has great vocals. Each of them knows how to play different instruments now. Just a talented family.
Holy crap! A few years ago I worked as a business development specialist for a bank. Part of my job was to assist small biz owners with things such as payment processing & other business services. One such client was the business manager for this band. Talented group of kids. Small world.
Was that guy Floren Cristea? That's the kids father who manages, produces and records them. He's been an artist/singer and producer for others in the past too.
It's super annoying how everyone up in the comments talking about check out this cover or that cover. They aren't a cover band, they have original music that blows their covers away!! They are one the hottest and most talented rising young rock bands on the planet... period.
React to their ORIGINAL music... like Mars, Sail Away, Dear Father, We Are the Children, Mystery, Nothing, Crazy Nights... list goes on! You must do OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEOS though, they produce amazing videos and they are so fun to watch, they are a 'live band', meaning you need to watch them perform. Lex will love the jaw dropping guitar solos. Sam even opens w/ a several minute long guitar solo on this video, his talent is just ridiculous.
ABOUT FRIGGIN' TIME you got around to Liliac. This was one of their first Rock band cover videos. In 2015 they changed from their Pop Music cover band name of The Cristeas (their family name) to Liliac (Romanian for "bat" hence their logo). This video is from 2017 I think, if memory serves. So it's already 5 years old. They just dropped another Ozzy cover of "Close My Eyes Forever" last week. But to find more of their stuff, just got to their RUclips channel and look for their OFFICIAL videos. They will not block anything. They are an independent band and they love their reactors. They'll even give ya a shout out if they see your reaction. Their covers are spot on, and their originals are extremely well written as well. The way they transition into the solos and tempo changes are awesome.

Yes, it is n Ozzy's Blizzard f Oz album. Lyrics, I think all Ozzy lyrics, were written by the bassist Bob Daisy and the guitarist is Randy Rhoads who was in Quiet Riot before he was in Ozzy.

You have just stepped into one massive rabbit hole with them. I have been suggesting them for months now, and couldn't be happier you got to them. I really hope you check out some more from them, either covers or originals, and it doesn't matter which song, as they are all amazing, same as this one. Dozens to choose from! They was very young here, with Sam the lead guitarist being the oldest at 19. Melody was singing and playing Bass at 8 yrs old!

My favorite covers are their Dio covers, of which they have 3 but my favorite originals from them are We Fight, We Fall, Queen of Hearts, Vertigo, and Mythical Creature, also Not Afraid, especially Live her high screams in Not Afraid are out of this world.

They are AMAZING! I met them at a small music festival not long before Covid. They and their parents are warm, humble, wonderful people, and Lilliac are on a par with Areosmith for stage presence, in my opinion.
LIliac does some awesome cover, but they aren't a cover band. they have some kick ass originals and yes the kids write their own music. Papa Liliac is a music produce who has produced quite few bands over the years. IMHO, the best original song to start with is Mars (live in Cummings, GA. 2019).

Some songs should never be remade, but a note for note cover in pure homage mode is fine, which is what this is. So I dig it.
Normally, I'm not a fan of covers, but this was really, *really* good! Never heard of Liliac before, so thanks for introducing them to me. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll be off to binge watch some of their other work.
Their originals (20+) are really great but I also really like their Iron Maiden The Trooper, Dio's Holy Diver and Rainbow in the Dark, Metallica's Enter Sandman and Master of Puppets, and Megadeth's Symphony of Destruction covers.
Also their Black Sabbath- Paranoid cover is awesome too.

Liliac is a cover band who also writes original music as well there siblings. The one sister Melody has a strong voice all and all there quite talented.
You should try one of their originals like Mars! Also, Abigail is the happiest drummer ever. She always seems to be having a blast on every song.
You should check out their current stuff. Lead Singer is Melody. Lead Guitar is Sam. Drummer is Abigail. Rhythm Guitar is Ethan and Keyboards are Justin.

Love this group 😃the dad came from Transylvania to the USA he met a woman in the USA who was also Transylvania married and had the kids , the kids were around recording studio a lot because of dads work , took and interest in music so they had lessons , the dad encouraged them to go busk at the pier and other places to get comfortable with crowds , saw them 3 years ago on a breakfast tv show 😃

Because they are so young, each progressive video, you can see them grow up before our eyes.
They've had a few changes since this early video. The singer no longer plays bass in their videos. Bass duties were handed off to the young second guitarist here. He'll be 16 this year, but was only about 10 or 11 here. The vocalist will be 20 this year. The lead guitarist will be 23 this year.
The beginning opening of that song was 100% in the original Ozzy song
I just discovered Liliac earlier today and now I'm binging on their videos. Their father is a musician and producer, so that's how they got the inspiration and training to form a band and start performing as a career, but you don't get this good at such a young age without having a lot of baseline inherited talent. BTW, both parents are from Transylvania, Romania, so obviously......they had to get into metal! 😆
