I lose all sympathy for individuals when they stoop so low that they’re willing to end the lives of children, for which there is no reason whatsoever. I’m relieved and pleased this situation ended as quickly as it did. My sympathies go out to the families of the children whose lives were taken by this evil creature.
Some children are so evil that they deserve it, case and point: Jon Venables. However, unfortunately, school shooters always just open fire indiscriminately instead of actually taking out the evil bullies who pushed them over the edge, which is unforgivably evil and defeats the entire purpose.
What gets me the most about this shooting and actually makes me tear up every time. Is the little girl, barely older than a toddler, who gave her life to pull the fire alarm which alerted the authorities. I'm sure someone called too, but the fact she had the frame of mind to do that while that sub human piece of garbage was shooting her is insane. She deserves a posthumous award. I know it isn't going to bring her back. But still. It's unfair that someone so pure and brave was taken.
Absolutely. Training was apparent in the actions of the heroes who responded, but not nearly appreciated enough is how evident it was that the staff and the children had been trained in how to respond as well. I'm tearing up just writing and thinking about that brave little girl.
I had to fight not to tear up at work the other night thinking about these poor people. And then it turns to rage seeing how some people have chosen to respond.

The comment at 7:20 is so inaccurate though, there were absolutely mental disorders at play here. The person(s) who sold her the guns when she exhibited these red flags should be held accountable too.
@@Impactjunky the comment was "There is was no history of mental illness that would have prevented her from buying a gun." It is accurate. I agree with you that there most definitely were mental health issues at play, but as Brandon said, no history or record of it that would have prevented the purchase of a firearm.
"You can't buy a cannon." Except there was some navy chads that wanted cannons on their privately owned ship, and James Madison signed a letter of marque and reprisal telling them that the second amendment protects their right to carry cannons.
I live in communist Europe and even I can buy a canon freely online without the govs permission. Why the american democrats has now decided it's this outrageous and obviously illegal thing to own is so weird.
@@volundrfrey896 Biden does NOT tell the truth! It's 100% legal to own a cannon in the U.S.A. Biden can't change that, so he just LIES about it. Oh, BTW canon (cameras) and cannon (guns) are BOTH legal in the US, LOL.
Sadly, in the body camera footage you can see officers walk by a dead little girl. That girl pulled the fire alarm to save all the other students and died for it. I don’t know her name, unfortunately, but she is definitely a hero that deserves to be remembered for her bravery and selflessness. Let’s make this girl the story, instead of the POS that murdered her!
As a Mexican it really gets me that there are people in the US that are pushing the gun ban in spite of seeing how much are guns necessary for this and other type of situations. What WE could give to legally own guns here and be able to protect our families from the bad guys here in my country. Guns are not evil, the people holding the gun determine the purpose so please keep fighting for your right to carry arms
“I do not plan to be respectful to the shooter” a man of culture I see. Edit: those cops responded to the situation beautifully. I hope those officers are doing good. I know it takes a lot to handle taking a human life but what they did was absolutely heroic.
@@Alastair_ that’s exactly how I hope those officers see the situation. They have nothing to feel sorry about. They did their duty to the highest extend and prevented a bigger tragedy and I hope they set the bar for other departments. If schools had armed men like them inside them the shooting wouldn’t have claimed a single life, and I doubt any other shooting would but leftist don’t want a solution. They want more lives to be taken to push their backwards and morally incorrect agenda.
Something I heard in the original story (and strangely never since) is that the shooter left a note talking about how it was either that school or another one and was/were picked that one because the other school had an armed resource officer. Once the media realized that proved the “good guy with a gun” theory, that part of the story started being left out. Also Brandon…I’d like to thank you for diving on that wrinkle grenade to save the rest of us.
The police did say that. Well, the police said there was "another target considered". They didn't specify that it was a school. But, yes. That has been covered by at least a few people. I imagine we'll eventually get some confirmation of that if/when they release the shooter's manifesto/other documents.
That is something that’s had me for a while. Why do we have so much protection for our government buildings, public buildings etc. but so little for our schools? Leaving them as a soft target is why maniacs keep targeting them.
(My comment from donuts video) Let us all remember shotgun Chad. He snapped his pump from low ready faster than Travis haley on a flat range. He held all the correct angles and worked with his team to clear room after room as point man while searching for the two missing children, not even thinking twice about his own safety. “LETS GO!!” he yells as he pushes up the stairs towards the gunfire as it gets louder and louder. He then proceeds to clear the second floor without Rex because he has a boom stick and does not care. As Rex makes a switch to point and lands a 5 tap he takes control of the sector and maneuvers to the left allowing Michael to solve the problem with his problem solva. He then was later involved in the security of the shooter while having the giga balls to not crank one off at the suspect because he knows what devastation will become of the discharging of his boom stick. The cleanup crew thanked him later. Long live shotgun Chad.
Next time someone tells me about that "Toxic Masculinity" bull shit, I'm going to send them a link to the bodycam footage, "There's your toxic masculinity!"
The saddest part of this is the little girl that the cops stepped over. The poor little angel stopped long enough to pull the fire alarm, and it cost her her life.
Damn, I’ve seen the body cam footage like 5 times I never noticed that… We need the federalize the protector program! At least 1 Big daddy in every school !
We should thank God for heroes, even as we mourn them. Through their actions, they inspire others around them to such feats and in doing so, gain a measure of immortality.

What’s funny is that the Founding Fathers actually intended for people to purchase cannons and gunships if they could afford them. Sadly I cannot purchase a decommissioned battleship and turn it into my own personal cruiser but imagine…
Yeah, people on the other side like to fixate on the "well-regulated militia" line, but i think that's a matter of 17th century idiom vs what we call a militia today. When you read the Federalist papers, basically the explanation of the reasoning behind our current constitution and bill of rights, I think it was Madison who flat out stated that the old crown heads of Europe are frightened of an armed populace, and we're not.
There is a guy that has a massive field gun in his yard, near Evaro Hill on Highway 93, I've driven past it many times, and my dad said he knew the guy, the piece is "decommissioned" but he's fairly certain that means the firing pin is not actually in the right place. Can't own a cannon...... how many times have you seen a "Making of..." for a civil war film where they say "all those cannons are from civil war buffs, they own them and bring them to reenactments all the time." and there is a line of 20+.
not sure if its actual sympathy, or just distaste towards the specific insults directed at them this isnt really anything new though, this happens all the times with white/black/etc shooters, people of those communites try to sympathise/understand the reasoning behind it, but at the end of the day, they are murderers
That's what happens when you frame a group as "the victims" and another as "the optessors." To many, reality is less important than the labels used by their lords.
The two cops at the Uvalde school ran away from the shooter when he showed up there. The police waited an hour while people were dying on the floor. Stop the parents from going, lied about what happened several times, tried to prevent the footage from being released, pretended they were heroes, harassed families of dead children and so on. The Nashville police go right in take care of it and gets the footage out to the public within hours.
Uvalde is easilly the worst case scenario, the police didnt do shit and basically got more people killed, Nashville did some absolutely incredible tactics and folded that POS quickly, they didnt mess around and do anything
A while back, Texas passed legislation allowing school districts to have armed faculty and staff. The Uvalde school district publicly declared that they were NOT going to allow ANYONE to be armed on school grounds. Just like this was/were POS was originally going to hit a different school, until they found out that that school has armed guards.
Yes, Uvalde will be a source of immense shame for us Texans for decades to come. It ranks right up there with Waco and Blackhawk Down as things that make my blood boil in no seconds flat.

In Utah, despite it being a constitutional carry state, you can only carry on school grounds if you have your CCW. I went to pick up my 9 year old daughter from her school on Wednesday, and just parked in the lot because the line of vehicles was so long. I stood out front waiting for the bell to ring, and saw two other dads there waiting with the exact same thing on their mind. Without even saying a word each of us knew we were all armed, and all of us wanted nothing more than to protect those children - ALL of them - as they left their school. We picked up our kids, nodded at each other and returned to our homes. Guns on school grounds are not and never have been the problem...but mental health has been a factor in every single bad situation. I wish people would wake up and focus on the things that matter, instead of passing legislation that does nothing besides giving libs warm fuzzies while criminalizing the innocent.
One of the biggest mistakes made by the Reagan administration was dismantling the mental health system and gutting so many asylums, resulting in no proper treatment for many, many mentally ill people out there.

It also angers me that women think the solution is even more of what the problem is, emasculate men even more. It'll eventually get to a point of almost completely defanging and declawing men so they're hardly even potentially a threat anymore. Then of course women will gain the upper hand(they already have really) and enslave men and polygamy will come back, with most women only swiping on 5% of men all you'd have to do is abolish laws preventing top 5% men from marrying and legalize polygamy at this point, monogamy is the other part of the reason top 5% men don't marry but polygamy will give them options and marriage. So most women will have no reason to care how most men are doing anymore and if anything would be incentivized to want to keep men down, women have been weaponized against men by the state for decades now. Statistically there's little to no difference in certain outcomes between a single father and 2 parents, but single mothers are far more likely to raise violent boys and promiscuous daughters likely to become single moms themselves. I think that's why women overwhelmingly are favored in custody battles, but women are also incentivized to try and baby trap the men they want the most, if he opts out she can just get child support and/or assistance, and women are incentivized to divorce. What's been happening with modern men for decades now is disgusting, and how some women mock men and laugh about it when men speak out on it. Men can't even speak out on men's rights violations without being met with hostility and aggression from women, it's crazy that women don't realize they blatantly want to enslave most men because they see men having rights at all as a 'threat' to them, same thing is happening with white people and in a different sense conservatives and/or Christians. IMO it's mostly because of feminism and resulting changes to society that mostly fatherless boys go on shootings, then they have the audacity to blame conservative men in particular that support the 2nd amendment. I've even seen people basically blame Christians for this happening, then think men with views like me are domestic terrorists when actually ANTIFA are and the left are the true fascists. Women are literally becoming fascists. Women really have no idea that most men before women got the vote had a great deal of love for women(I think most still do and many women don't deserve it anymore), and respect too, modern women tend to be less respectable IMO not more. Women can't wrap their heads around how men can love and respect women they see as inferior in many ways, and it's because women are biologically wired to be repulsed and disgusted by men they see as 'beneath' them in almost any way, like being less educated where now women are by far outpacing men in college. Women have been lied to about the world being built by men for men to basically enable them to 'enslave' women out of 'hate', is that why men would be willing to die to protect women and children? But people want to remove most men's ability to even defend a wife and children to create dependence on the government for that too, because men are intentionally being phased out of the lives of women and children by the state. IIRC in Canada it's illegal for parents to object to a minor child transitioning so the state is gaining more control over kids than parents now so kids are practically becoming property of the state, they're obviously convincing young confused kids they're the wrong gender and pushing them to take puberty blockers and hormones and eventually get surgery, then people like me are the ones that hate trans people. Or maybe it's the people using trans people as political pawns and when they de-transition and speak out on it, they're bullied and silenced by the same people that tricked them to think they're the wrong gender and to mutilate their genitals. Jazz is a horrible example for that, I really feel for the now adult that was a 'trans kid' as young as 5. A lot of people involved in that including her mom can go to hell. Women don't realize the government is using a false sense of independence and liberation to enslave the masses including women, the lack of dependence on men that actually love them is very bad. It's being replaced by dependence on the government that's enabling women to abuse and exploit men and women just think men deserve it for years and years of 'oppressing' women, as if it wasn't for good reason, not for the benefit of men at women's expense, it's because young women tend to be destructive to themselves and others when allowed too much freedom too young and even their own children. When women start oppressing men it's for women's benefit at the expense of men(if it ever helps men it's by accident), when men would admittedly be controlling it was almost always for the woman's benefit and sometimes even at the man's expense, it was out of love. Women don't understand men's ways of showing love anymore, it's all 'hate' or 'abuse'. Men are supposed to be in a position to decide whether or not a woman deserves to benefit at his expense, women want to take that away from most men so women don't even have to be held accountable and can do whatever the fuck they want, fuck all the men they want, get all the abortions they want, ect and take away men's right to refuse to marry women with a promiscuous past for example. Men should have no say in anything anymore, men's rights 'oppresses' women because even slightly attempting to hold women accountable is 'oppression' now.
so with the clip of the flamethrower exploding, that was actually extremely rare, during training courses on the flamethrower during WW2 and Vietnam, the DI's would actually shoot the tanks with their service pistols to prove that they were safe to handle
Yeah, its actually really hard to ignite tanks of fuel (really, most kinds of fuels). Mostly empty tanks are more likely because thats when what little fuel is left is able to vaporize and mix with air in the tank in the right ratio. I thought flamethrowers were dangerous for other reasons though, isnt it relatively easy to catch yourself on fire if youre not careful with what you shoot it at?
Apparently it was more common for the ruptured tank to just fling the soldier from the escaping gas, sending them to the floor without igniting, and sometimes those tanks could ricochet bullets too.
@@hatman4818 Correct. FPSRussia did a video where he was using a flamethrower loaded with something approaching real napalm and almost set his shoes on fire from dripping fuel. Flamethrowers have largely been done away with because of safety issues for the *operator*. Note that it is possible for a flamethrower to explode if it's hit by a bullet, but typically this is going to be an explosion of the pressurized propellant gas rather than the napalm. Could absolutely still be life-threatening if the tank ruptures into shrapnel and one goes into your body or throws you into a terrain feature but it's highly unlikely to set off the fuel as well. Being lit on fire by your own flamethrower's fuel igniting at once is largely a Hollywood thing.

Nice M60 Brandon. Back in the '80s when I was in the army, I ordered so many barrel assemblies, bolt assemblies, and operating rod assemblies for them that I still remember the National Stock Numbers for all 3 parts. I could tell you what went wrong, and what to look for, but it will cost you. Just kidding! If you want to know, all you have to do is ask. I also had to inspect some that the respective unit armorers had to DX (direct exchange) for new guns. Where the front and rear halves of the receiver were riveted together, they were coming loose. If you clamp the front of the receiver in a vise, you're supposed to used a fish scale (or trigger scale) with a spring to put a certain weight on the very back of the receiver. It's been 40 years and I can't remember how many pounds of pressure you're supposed to apply but it wasn't much. And you measure any deflection with a ruler. Like, pull on it with 5 pounds of force and it shouldn't move more than 1/8" or whatever it was. We never even had a scale to check them with, but I had some I would tap my fingers on the bottom of they would flop an inch in the air. The new style rivets they used when the arsenal rebuilt them was supposed to keep them from falling apart like that. I sure hope you got a good one. Despite all the problems they had, I always liked the M60. They used M60Ds with spade grips like a Ma Deuce in helicopters back then. The only M240s we had were the co-ax machine-guns on tanks. Damned fine weapons, but If I had to carry an M240B or an M60, I'd go with the M60. Carrying that weight was bad enough, and I wouldn't want to add another 4 1/2 pounds of weight carrying the M240.

Let us all remember shotgun Chad.

@@tiredperson1354 The Japanese mass stabber (killed 19) would like a word with your foolish comment.

"You couldn't buy a cannon when this ammendment was passed" haven't seen that clip before. Last time I checked, back then you could buy a warship and be an actual licensed pirate for the US. 18th-19th century was a wild time...
I've always wondered just where those people think all the weapons used by the Continental forces came from. Pretty sure they didn't get them from Cabela's the day after the Declaration was signed. Clearly, they were already in circulation
There’s not just one clip of him saying that. There’s like 8 or 9.
@@bracoop2 I've heard him say you can't buy a cannon, haven't heard him claim you couldn't buy one during the founding before. That one's new to me, and just another bold face lie.
You can buy a tank, too, but no one talks about that. Good luck finding shells for it, though. Unless you plan on firing slugs
@@CMTechnica Nobody talks about it because everyone's well aware that you can own a working tank with its main gun still active. Finding shells, a proper crew, and the time to learn how it works is a different story, however.
Seen Donuts breakdown and dang the whole group of officers that responded handled that situation perfectly, those guys DID NOT mess around clearing the building up to dropping that POS. Props to those heroes for doing what they did with all gusto and no sass
that room clearing is something straight out of a Call of Duty, incredible tactics from those police officers, they responded fast and quickly folded the threat like the stock of an AKS
What amazed me even more was that the officers seemed to be from different units, yet worked together to clear the rooms.
It was like 2.5 minutes. I don't think I could walk from my car, to that second floor atrium in 2.5 minutes. For them to actually clear it and take down the POS (along with backtracking because of locked doors), is AMAZING.... When those guys walked in there, they knew it would end in 1 of 2 ways, either they get shot, or they were going to shoot someone. Not to mention having to live with seeing dead kids and teachers. Let's remember, these aren't combat hardened soldiers, they are Nashville Police. These brave hero's are going to have PTSD. I just hope they know just how proud the nation is of them.
Been a gun owner for 13 years and have just recently decided to get my CCW. I used to think I would never need my gun when I'm out and about. But when you think about it the chances of needing it out in public are probably greater than needing it for home defense. Especially in these trying times. The best gun is the one you will actually carry and I took that personally
No need. Just carry it.
Yeah but you don't need them so much when other people also probably don't have them.

Not only have it on you at all times, but practice, train, practice, and train some more until it feels like an extension of your hand !

Thank you Brandon for doing what we all want to do, tell the truth about that POS. Hats off to the boys in blue who were absolutely rock stars and should be honored as heroes.

I hate when people say gun restrictions worked in Australia, trust me THEY DIDN'T. We still have gun crime, the only thing the gun laws did was take legally owned firearms off law abiding citizens
Same here in Canada, nothing but biker gangs and street gangs killing each other. Hasn't slowed down just got 20% worse over the last ten years, and they don't shy away from using pipe bombs either.
Exactly the same shit happened in the UK and now look at us. Knife attacks and Immigrants throwing acid in regular citizens faces.

Guns have been a part of America culture for over 200 years, yet it's only recently, and in certain areas, gun crimes are a real problem.
They don't have a gun problem, they have a mental health problem. A gun is just a tool. It's up to the individual how it's used, and if they didn't have a gun, they'd simply use something else.
