Excellent distillation as usual - thanks for your superb reviews and I completely agree with your assessment - though I just didn’t spot a cheeky Ginsters! 😝👍👏

Very inspiring video , I'm going to pop over from the Isle of Wight to Lymington & give this a go .I may even try bike packing it over the Xmas break . I'm also trying to decide if I could comfortably do this as a day ride , I can Do the Isle of Wight ok in a day .

The Forest can be a bit lumpier than folks realise

That's why I got a hardtail with 29ers instead of a gravel bike. Might get a gravel bike in the future though for faster speed on gravel.

Great video! Just wondering, does your Garmin ever lose GPS in the forest? My phone has been useless and thinking about getting a Garmin/Wahoo. Thanks!

Nope, the Garmin has never lost gps even under tree cover for me, my old wahoo roam did quite a few times though. Most gps device do tend to get a bit of gps drift when under tree cover though. Basically thinks you are not quite where you are on the map, but it’s normally not bad enough not to see the route you are following.
