Love that tone. Would be interested to here what a similar instrument would sound like with harp strings. I don't know where I got the idea of a nylon stringed keyboard instrument but I can't get it out of my head.
can i suggest to sing more the melody as this sounds like an exercise more than the incredible piece it is. However you did it very nicely and on this fantastic instrument!! thanks
When you said “sing” it reminded me that I started to write a lyric, just after I discovered piece, beginning with “Couperin you may remember wrote this song one cold December and he chose to call it The Mysterious Barricade “
@@luuktorn The reason its called a Clavicytherium is because the soundboard is facing upwards instead of downwards, this tactic was done merely to save space
The low end of this instrument is just gorgeous 😭❤
Tres jolie, salut de l'Espagne
A very interesting and unusual instrument with a lovely sound! 🎶🎼🎹🎵 And also beautiful music. 🎵🎹🎼🎶
I knew these 'upright harpsichords' existed, but it is great to see it actually being played!
Same as a piano...
A wonderful sounding instrument, and very well played
L'une des meilleures interprétations 👍✨✨✨✨
What a great sound...the musician looks totally into it. Beautiful stuff!

Excellent performance. Great sounding instrument.
Fantastico ....🎶🎵🎼👌👌👌
Merci à Couperin...sublime..
Very nice! The sound is full, rich, and gorgeous. What is the tuning used in this performance? It sounds similar to meantone temperament.
Magnifique quel plaisir a voir et surtout à ecouter

😂😂it's not a clavicytherium, it's an upright harpsichord
unfunny
Yeah, it sounds like a normal French harpsichord, not like a clavicytherium
@@luuktorn yes😂

@@Iceologer Yeah, I know, but it does not sound like the small, early clavicytheriums I have heard before.
It must have a different touch.
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏😊
Bravo🌷
The name makes it sound like some kind of prehistoric animal. Like a Baluchitherium.
Genial!
Quoi? S'cuse moi?! OH PLUS VITE! J'croyais que tu m'ferais signe.
Cool. Thnxxx.

Upright harpsichord - cembalino 🤪😀
A cembalino is simply a small harpsichord with a horizontal soundboard.
@@thomaskendall452 It's not a harpsichord, it's a spinet.
good steady beat.... careful not too much rubato... everyone does...
1717. UGLE. Thank you!
Le toucher est aussi bon et agréable qu'un clavecin ?
Too fast
