the AN-94 was designed to fire two shots before you felt the recoil, this a really impressive over engineered gun and they did an excellent job accurately depicting it in this game.
apparently the intial burst shoots three rounds in this game
I guess its because the 3rd shot is necessary to make the gun more balanced cuz if u make it shoot 2 then the burst will just feel like a single shot and a guy with a fast trigger finger will just destroy everyone
Since the 2shot burst is at 1600-1800rpm
If u engaged with a guy with a gun thats single fire only and u all have the same trigger speed
u will have double the rounds fired at him

The 3rd round takes longer to fire than the 1st and 2nd rounds witch will help the weapon be more fair
Its not fun if everyone played the same gun.
xclusiveAce tested it and the 3rd bullet also comes out just as fast, only the 4th+ bullets come out slow

Burst-fire AN-94 was one of my favourite guns to use in Battlefield. You could time the recoil of the bursts to essentially rapid-fire with no recoil and the fire rate of that burst was insanely high with good damage. It was a go-to in hardcore as bursting allowed for great ammo conservation and made it a monster at any range

It's so bad it happens in solos.
the teleporting is packet burst, where instead of losing packets, some packets are delayed and then you get em all at once. Hence you teleporting. It's the 3 oranges squares on the left of your screen. It started happening more after S5 launch. I changed my region settings from EU to USA and it seemed to help for now.

The An-94 and the Finn were the most underwhelming guns to come with this game. Their guns that people, including me, wanted to be good/usable. The FiNN gets no head shot multipler and the An is just too unique with the two round burst.

The AN94 is originally a 2 round burst rifle. It fires that way so the shooter can fire more shots, and have tighter shot grouping, without recoil being an issue. Hence why ot 2 round bursts

for the ISO, i'd recommend using the 30rd mags and sleight of hand because the 50rd mag slows ur movement speed down by 10% and basically makes it an lmg

Ok so the an94 the reason why it’s a 2 Round burst in the begging (with zero recoil) and full auto afterwards is because the gun is designed to pop off 2 rounds before the recoil hits the user...

Fun fact the gun was adopted by the Russian military for like a day before they realized how expensive it was to mass produce these and then they went back...

The AN-94 was designed to penetrate armor. It fires in a 2 round burst and both rounds were made to hit the exact same spot, 1st round cracks the armor and 2nd round breaks through armor. It was never designed for full auto

it's going to be a whole new world when games have persistent/voxel-based graphics (especially with VR). i don't think most gamers realize how much of a difference in gameplay and immersion it is going to make.

Hey Aculite! I have a gun recommendation for you which is heavily underrated, and a direct competitor to the Bruen with slightly superior stats.
It's the SA87, and give me a chance to show you why :)
Stats compared to the Bruen with the optimal setup on both guns:
Pros vs the Bruen:
- Faster TTK at close and long range with the same damage ranges, with significantly higher limb damage which makes it a lot less punishing if you're not hitting upper chest, along with brutal headshot damage that gives you MP5 levels of TTK all the way out to 50 meters
- 50 MS faster ADS, same movement speed, 200 MS faster sprint out
Cons vs the Bruen:
0.6 seconds slower reload, very slightly lower bullet velocity, slightly slower ADS movement speed, slower fire rate which makes missing shots more punishing, more recoil (note that the recoil is not that high, it can absolutely laser but it takes a few games to get used to the S shaped pattern)
The reason why people wrote it off is because every single person tried it with the long barrel, which is a weak attachment and waste of a desperately needed attachment slot.
The best setup is mono suppressor, 60 round mags, tac laser, merc foregrip and VLK 3.0 optic. Lower zoom optics work too, and with the new blueprint that everyone gets in the season 5 pass it has fantastic iron sights, which frees up an additional attachment slot for even more mobility with stippled grip or the ADS stock, or even the aiming stability stock which completely removes the annoying view kick.
It is absolutely worth checking out and I know you will be very surprised by how well it performs!

i loved using the AN-94 in BF3... so powerful at the mid-long range, just dropped many kills with that. Also keep up the vids, love the content.
