When men are vulnerable and emotionally intelligent enough to understand life is more than the material things they own, they become better people & this world is a better place. I liked the dialogue between the two bc it was a nonjudgmental, safe space. Thety both were genuine & authentic…Super informative conversation! I’m sending this to my man now 🥰
Women do not care if men are vulnerable and emotionally intelligent if he isn't attractive to a woman physically or financially .
Women put us in that position of making material things a priority. We will sit and cry and then come in to a woman that either do not support you or they trash us. Women pit us against other men as a source of competition. Hey if I can't get from you I will have another man in my pocket. I know because each marriage I've had ended with them sleeping with other men. However women don't want to take accountability that they are the influences that destroy or make men.
Men should not become women.
@@victorwperry7738 blame the male patriarchy not women.
@@gzonnellehanley2074 societal norms and expectations may lead to a tendency to blame others rather than facing difficult truths. Open communication, understanding, and personal growth are crucial for fostering healthier relationships and resolving conflicts. It's always beneficial to approach these topics with empathy and a willingness to understand different perspectives.
Your perspective and his perspective could be right.
At the same time.
And if you are not aware of that then now you know.
That is also why people argue!
Because instead of trying to understand each other.., they argue over who is right and who is wrong.
You give off as a woman that always wants to argue and be right.
I’m praying for you.
May we all become better people as the days go by.
Peace & Love
“When you’re with someone who inspires you, you won’t want to compete with them. To compete with them would be to stop their momentum in the earth!” 🔥😮
This! 🙌🏽
Right ! So if they do compete what does that say 🤔
Wow this conversation was so good on everything God has done great things using Sarah Jake's Robers
I learned to not be afraid of giving your whole self because when you don't, it blocks you from trusting God and receiving His blessings in your life.
Great word. I needed it awesome 😊
Give your whole self to God only 😘SOME people will use you up and that's why you shouldn't give your whole self to people 😘🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
What really touched me was when Sarah spoke about how her husband asked her how can he serve her. Men don't really understand how that can reveal the vulnerability in a woman with how she can trust Him and love him in a way that he does not know when he honors and protects her.
The good Sis said she had to abandoned the PLAN to jump into the VISION… bars 🔥 🙌🏾
You must have a plan in order to bring the vision to reality.....
Sarah dropped a ton of gems!!!
Anthony, until you remove the "cloak of fear" of being taken advantage of by a woman, you will not find your purpose partner. Please get out of your own way!
Sarah said it best :
Trust God with the entire process!!
Trust him with the confirmation when he identifies the person for you.
Do not control what the person will be later and what the outcome will be.
Give your all and show up whole heartedly in the relationship.
Please take these gems to heart.
i’ve learned that i don’t have to dim my light to make room for a man, but we can help each other shine brighter together rather than apart.
Elaborate, "" dim your light""
“I wasn’t afraid to get married to Him because he brought all of him to the relationship”. When she said that, I immediately could relate. I remember being scared of marriage till I met my husband. He effortlessly included me in his life and made it clear my please that I didn’t have to ask or wonder.
Ladies, when a man seriously wants you, you will know. You won’t wonder your place in his life💕.
And I’m thankful for the interviewer’s willingness to be vulnerable, that made the whole interview relatable and smooth…
You can’t compite with something that make u better
This episode is a public and whole therapy
The one thing I got from this episode was confirmation on giving of my whole self in relationships that I value. I realized that I don't have many regrets when it ends because I had given my best at that moment. Even in the relationship I am in, I'm not scared to communicate my needs or set clear boundaries anymore because I am trusting God to move and reveal His Will for my life. This was a beautiful episode, well done guys!
Even though I am turning 60 this year. Sarah has impacted my life. Thank you❤
One thing I loved about this episode is AO’s transparency about how he realized how his parents story has affected him and I also liked how Sarah talked about how Pastor Toure gave his whole self to her and not first waiting to see if she would do the same. Sooo many gems but these are my favorites. Can’t wait to read the book!
As a mother wound healing coach, I’m so grateful they revisited the last conversation and unpacked the root cause of those beliefs about women. I hope AO has more conversations with men about how mothers shape their perceptions & expectations of women, and how the mother wound impacts (and often stands in the way of) romantic relationships.
Just as wounded women often project their pain (daddy issues, mama trauma, etc.) onto the men they date, men do the same to us. Yet, it’s rarely discussed because we don’t offer enough space to address the mother wound.
It’s very real and until we heal our inner child, it will keep us stuck in limiting beliefs. While we can honor our mothers for who they are, we have to be honest about some of the damage they caused and how it’s affecting our every day ADULT lives. ❤️🙏🏾
I wish I could like your comment 1000 times. Definitely need to have momma trauma conversations more.
I appreciate Sarah mentioning all the conversations that have already happened with women. She inspires me to continue embracing my strength in the powerful Name of our Lord. I've had the experience of ppl wanting to dim my light and diminish my value, to fit into their little box.
I'm done with that. Thank you, Sarah, for inspiring and encouraging women.
It's 6:20 PM EST at this time of commenting . Two weeks after the video was uploaded. ❤. I'm so happy 😊 and thrilled to have come upon this video of Mrs. Roberts. I'm so impressed with her and thank God. For the work he has done in her. I am a born again Christian. Who is facing serious challenges. Since my conversion. 😢My daughter dropped out of school at age 15. With pregnancy just before. She was slated to sit her external exams. I was so devastated and wondered what was going to happen. How were we going to cope. But God. During that time. I came across you testifying about. "What you did", as you put it at the time. I was so surprised. Being Bishop's daughter. But we have an enemy. Who seeks to kill steal and destroy us. My daughter doesn't want to know God 🙏. I told her about you and how God restored you. I asked her at the time. If she would like to share with others her experience. To help other young girls. Not to do the same thing. She wouldn't have any of it. I'm constantly in prayer and fasting. For salvation to come to my house. For God to heal the brokenness. She just won't listen to sound doctrine. She now has two children. Doing well in a Job but without the Lord 🙏. The other day 😊. I came across you on TBN. With the launch of your new book. I would like to gift my daughter it. As well as a bible. She's stiff necked. I'm so happy 😊 for how God has empowered you. Please continue to press on. You have inspired alot of people. I've not read your book yet but I'm definitely going to get a copy. I enjoyed this video. It was deep and very profound. God bless you 🙏 sister Roberts in all your endeavors. Please keep my family in your prayers. So that Power Moves in my house 😮. God bless you 🙏. P.S. I too am scared of intimacy. Getting hurt. I love who I am. As I wait on God 🙏. As I build. I love your reasoning.
The most powerful thing I received from the interview is when Sarah said being willing to give all yourself to a relationship even if it does or doesn't work . Making that decision to overcome your fears. Also, you could be missing out on expanding your territory when you hold back. Praise God for giving her the ability to articulate it in a way everyone can receive it. Thanks for challenging many to confront their fears and convey what they could be missing if they don't.
❤She gets straight to the point!
I love her Authenticity and Truth.
She is Spiritually inclined and Authentically Standing In Her Truth of who God is to Her✨🙏🙌
I’ve never watched one of your episodes but this was amazing!!!! I learned that you are not afraid to own up to your mistakes and apologize for them. I learned about my Power and understanding how much of it I was giving away to others, my fears, and even toning myself down to prevent anyone’s feelings from being hurt! I watched this episode 4 times between yesterday and today. I’m sure there aren’t any more books left but I’m just grateful to be able to look back at this episode when times get rough! I also learned about what I bring to the table as a single woman in 2024🙌🏾
being transparent, honest, & open as well as involved makes relationships better
This
I love the fact that she acknowledged that we as women and society need to allow men to become vulnerable and comfortable .
Woooow, during the dating phase, and ya'll on the phone, if the man says "hold on my assistant is calling" then he merges the call, THAT is a sincere man of vulnerability! He welcomes you wholeheartedly into his world!NOW they have a blissful marriage of almost 10 years
What I learned today from your chat on Sarah's book is that it's not too late to define some things in my marriage. Going on 20 years of marriage, and I feel things are still untapped in our journey. It's time to tap into that power and stop resisting.
I received this word for me😊
I learned that as a woman you don't have to dissolve your identity when you become of service to your partner
This was an eye opening statement for me because I can truly relate. God bless you and thanks.
I needed it😊
The most important revelation that I got from the show is that God is trying to get the power to us but it's being clamped off by trauma, shame , and pride etc ... I would really love a copy of her book ..POWER MOVES ... I BELIEVE IT COULD REALLY HELP ME ON MY JOURNEY..
I love when SarahJake said, “You can't compete with someone that can make you better”!!! how can I serve you? That is very very deep. It makes me look at myself how I choose to date and who I choose to date from now on.
“How may I serve you?” Wow. Mutual respect. Complete collaboration and support. Zero competition. Praise God!!
I learned the importance of having a person in your life that inspires you and creates an environment for power, love and healing to move through you so you can expand…that’s so beautiful
This was A LOT of confirmation for me. I’m a successful, divorced, mother of 1. Choosing to invest in myself and my daughter, until she leaves for college, has been an unpopular decision. What resonated most with me was her statement to you, “You will be grateful when you finish this journey, that you didn’t get married from this place.” All the healing, learning, and discovery during this season, has created the firm foundation needed for building he and I will do in our season.
Excited to see you and yours in your future season too!
One thing ive learnt from today's show is that we're better together..Power Moves but more than that..together it multiplies!!
I resonate with you on not being your true self in friendships and being a private person. Those are two things I struggle with.
I learned to face my fears, and go for it! Don’t allow anyone to dim my light! Vulnerability is strength not a weakness!
Wow! Thank you so much for having her on, she's a great communicator!! The way she broke down how the power of God is often limited in our life really hit me. God bless her!
I learned that I have to allow myself to be humble so that it removes the pressure of me performing perfectly as a wife, mom, professional, etc. Once I accept the absence of perfection, I would experience liberation.
Sarah spoke about Power, that it’s moveable, which helped me to realize I don’t have to compromise something I don’t have or I don’t want to in order for my Power to be useful for me. Because the Power is in me, I don’t have to work for it using faulty beliefs that never served me.
“You cannot compete with someone who inspires you.” A whole lot of vulnerability which makes the whole conversation very interesting and engaging. I recently found your show and ever since then, I’ve been watching the whole episodes to catch up. I subscribed to your RUclips channel and followed you on Instagram. Such a great show. It has blessed my life for the short period I found it, over a week ago. Thank you for all you do.
This is an incredible conversation. Am glad I got the opportunity to watch it. This is what true conversations look like. Thank you Anthony for allowing us this opportunity and you too have been vulnerable on this one. The therapist has been a great step in your life. Keep at it and yes stick around Toure and Sarah. First time by the way to watch you. All the way from Kampala, Uganda
I love how she stated about not completing with each other but more of building together and having someone to hold onto. Also, there are two strong people individually.but knowing when each other is needed. I was working and listening at the same
But will go back and listen again!
I learned that when you inspire each other there is no need to compete because your desire is that each one becomes their best self!!!
Tasha Cobbs Leonard spoke about the spirit of rejection. Sometimes we claim it without even knowing. Rejecting ppl out of fear of rejection is one way it shows up.
I loved how Sarah share the example of Toure's transparency and him merging the call with his assistant. Women want an need to feel safe in a relationship and thus was a great example of how men can facilitate that safety. 🥰
It's so good to see a man wants to heal and becomes this vulnerable. The bible says perfect love cast out every fear. Jesus has shown us perfect love as we stay one with him, we cast out every fear of what any partner can be or become. Just assure urself that God loves u enough to never leave u or forsake you. Pray to understand the love of God and u'll so much heal
I loved the epiphanies. God expects so much of men in their role as leaders. Once a husband recognises his role as soul keeper it makes the journey through life- marriage so much easier. Only a virtuous woman can emulate his surrender to God and embrace the growth. Sarah your growth is an inspiration. I love your humility. Thanks for sharing this precious event @Anthony...Success to you in your search for a God-fearing woman. Continue to heal. Each of us would show up more authentic as partners if we actively heal.
The level of authenticity and vulnerability in this episode is mind blowing. All the best on your healing journey AO.
The most powerful interview on this platform, ever. I do see your growth Mr. O'Neal.
Power moving: I learned that your power flows when you authentic. Even it’s natural and becomes easy.
What I learned most about all the wise information given was here today is Identifying the root of a problem when you said to Sarah that you didn’t realize how much you was affected by conversation between you and your father, and how it scared you to make a commitment in relationships afraid that the person might leave you. Discovering the root of any problem it’s a win-win for everybody involved. This was meaningful thank you🥰
One of the most powerful statement for me was the dynamic illustrations of the "Water Balloon " as God's power goes inside us, we expand to greatness "!!!
Love the entire message. One of my favorite!💞🙏
There were so many good nuggets from this interview. I had to a note pad, although she was talking to Anthony about his relationship. I could relate…When Sarah said “we have choices who will become”…..that was powerful for me; along with “having the belief that the cost of love, relationships and vulnerability is one willing to pay”..WOW!
I learned that you can’t compete with something that makes you better
The thing I learned is that power is not about what you have, but the power that you have within yourself. I have a lot of things going on in my life, but the most heaviest is that my father is dying from an aggressive rare cancer and it has me all messed up. Thank you for this show because I am truly having to find the power within me.
Today was my first time ever seen and heard of your show. I just want to say that I admire your ability to identify the root of road blocks in your life. I pray that God continues to heal you from the inside out. Everyone deserves to feel loved and secure. My past decisions didn't hinder me. It molded me for the woman that I needed to be when God sends my husband. Your past has done the same for you. Be blessed ❤.
I wish I can like this video more and moree,I learnt to be vulnerable when its necessary and also allow myself to be loved.God bless you both 🙏🏾 I’d love to have one of the book,I’m in Ghana.Thank you 🤗
Best podcast interview I've listened to in a while. So much truth, wisdom, knowledge.
This is hands DOWN the best video I have watched on your channel. This is most authentic, non bitter, non judgmental version of you that I have seen. You are listening, taking criticism and genuinely seeking knowledge. I found you from your from time on Dave Ramsey, and I naturally followed you because you are a black man, but in all honesty as a black woman I did not feel like this space was always for me outside of your financial acumen, however, this growth is inspiring and I look forward to more "post therapy" conversations like this one. God Bless You and always believe that God loves you enough to save the one He made for you. She is out there and with this growth probably near❤.
Amen on the messages for women. We have the training. Now it is the men. This doesn't mean to dump on them, but reevaluate the family structure. Love it.
I learned that Power is part of our inheritance from God. We are wasting our inheritance when we are not making necessary power moves that aligns with God's assignment on our life. The power is in us. We must agree with God and connect with the power in order for the power to expand us into all that God has created us to be. Thank you so much for the podcast. May God richly bless your ministry.
This was SO good! My God 🙏🏾 Thank you for always blessing us with your amazing presence and gems, Pastor Sarah! 🤍 I loved the conversation around fear. I struggle with the same challenges being a child who was a product of divorce. Its a DEEP wound that only God + therapy can heal!
I had to watch this 3 times to catch all the gems. This was a much needed, comprehensive, thoughtful, fulfilling discussion that gave me verbiage for my current space of life. Thank you for this! Buying the book today!
Listening to you all talk it has encouraged me to do what I would love to do for my life is to be more of me and not be at all and I’m much older but it’s a young woman that God is giving so much wisdom. I wish I had or was able to do it at her age, so I’m gonna look over my life again and start doing things that I know that will build my life up in Christ Jesus cause I know I have so much to give and also I saw you in North Carolina Sunday service Union church about how to build your life as far as finances is concerned soif you can send me that book, I would love to have it
This interview had me on a Emotional Rollercoaster ride. First time hearing Sarah. I had to hear it back to back. I'll probably listen to it again. I have learned is my power has been lost for sometime. Been struggling probably since Covid. The best thing during that time. Was I got married to my beautiful wife. Things were great, until I changed. Not quite knowing why. Maybe, for being single for 10 years after my first marriage. And not answering to anyone but to myself. Here I am knowing what I got in front of me. And I'm messing it up. I understand when you feel like you lose power, then everything else follows. Would love to feel what a Power Couple feels like fot the first time in my life. I've learned you can't be to comfortable in a relationship. Don't always think everything is OK. But most of the time it's not. Each one in the relationship has got each other's back. Not just one. Sorry if I went on a rant here. Just telling you how I felt after listening. To all the Mothers out there. HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!! I lost my mother 3 months ago 3 days before my birthday. So this Sunday will be a very difficult day for me.😢 But I'll get through it. 👊😎
I have learned from both of you. Sarah Jakes Roberts: "Power is about to be becoming in each of us regardless of........If we don't show up in our power, we are wasting our inheritance as the children of God."
Anthony ONeal: "Ladies Build, and do what God calls you to do."
I used to think a man should take care of me, that is his job as a male provider. Now, God's grace, and listening to Sarah Jakes Roberts changed my perspective.
I loved how you both discussed the importance of having the strong connection with your spouse to come together and support each others purpose!
Im so glad I watch this. Audio would've not done justice to this message. I'm going to get this book for me. To work on me
Anthony,
You have let go and left God do the work in you. Trust in His mighty power!
Stay Blessed.
I loved that Sarah is very insightful with not only spiritual things but with the people she is around.
Peace.
I just wanted to say one of things I received from this interview is the ability to have humility within one’s self, allowing God to speak through you so that his ( spirit) will enable you to be a conduit to become everything that he has created within.
Wow, talk about a powerful, transparent, and transformative conversation. First, AO I would be remiss to not mention how much I appreciate your honesty regarding your healing journey and process. This is the alpha male trait we need to see. Be strong enough to be vulnerable, real and honest about your emotions. Also thank you for encouraging therapy. WE NEED IT to move forward and heal. As for Sarah Jakes Roberts, absolutely “Phenomenal “. Much needed conversation= grateful 🙌🏽
All of Sarah’s interviews offer a new revelation Amen 🙏🏾
I loved hearing about the mutual inspiration between Sarah and Tourè. I also loved how she gave advice/feedback in the most loving, graceful way! And I would loooove a copy of her book! ❤🙂🙏🏽
I agree discipleship for men is EVERYTHING! Abundant conversation.
Today is my first time listening, subscribers and bell. Hitting the lowest part of the women i should become. My Therapists are there. Tku for speaking truth. I need to overcome the struggles .
I’ve been saying for over 20 years that we need consistent platforms that empower men to evolve! There are many offerings for women-let’s establish and maintain them for our men! Love this!!
I am ashamed to say that I was guarded when I saw Mrs. SJR due to non-sense. I decided to shut off the outside world and humble myself, and for that, I was blessed with sheer authenticity. She is powerful and thoughtful. Thank you.
❤ from Baltimore
I love the healthy introspection that is happening in this conversation.
I learned power moves within me at the extent of my Authenticity…It’s like this conversation put a name to a lot of the freedom I’m experiencing on my mission with the Lord. Thank you!
I never had to question whether he was all in.
“It was nothing for him to bring me fully in to his whole world.”
“He was such an obvious man of integrity.”
Do you realize how necessary that is for building trust relationally?
(40 min in)
I really like this podcast. There were alot of gems that were stated from Sarah Jakes Roberts. I love her analogy about the power as being water to fill up a balloon. Also I love when she stated that her husband was not afraid to go all the way in with her. And if she had any walls that were up, they were brought down because he made it safe for her. This was a great show. ❤
SJR!!! YES!! This is an interview I so wish I could have seen 35 years ago. This is a real Power Moves interview. God is powerful that He is perfect in His timing. I wish I would have seen this then, but His plan placed this before me right in the midst of what He has me in on my journey for Him to show me He confirms His plan for my life. Not my timing but His!! I thank God for integrity.
I loved the show. What i loved the most was When Sara said PT asked how could he be of service for her I imediatelly though “ I got to have a clear vision of who I am and where i am going to, so that when God brings the man He has for me, i will be able to answer correctly. It reminded me that this journey of discovering who i am in Christ and What God had in mind when He made me, is one i never have to give up.
I really love that you were vulnerable and allowed us into this impromptu therapy session for you. Even in this interview, you allowed power to shift and let Sarah lean in and help you achieve realizations that you may not have if you choose to be stubborn….. good for you,
God bless keep doing the good work.
I enjoyed the vulnerability and Antony’s willingness to be open to to not just listen but hear things from a woman’s perspective 💜
Growth!
I am listening from St.Vincent and the Grenadines. I need a copy of the book please.
This was🔥 I hope it's not too late for the book. Being that my partner and I are seriously talking about taking the next steps, the most powerful thing I learned is that we as women should have capacity for him to evolve as well, which doesn't take away any of our power AND gives him a safe space.💕
Nothing for him to bring me into his world….a man with integrity❤
I love learning more about SJR every time I watch her interview. I enjoyed how she came on to be interviewed but turned into a therapist. I swear she reminds me so much of myself. I also honor you King and the fact that you are mature enough to admit fault and are working towards change for a better life. I love that for you ❤ invite me to the wedding
I am in my late 60’s and was having a tough day. God led me to your conversation and I have been blessed. Maybe I will be able to find some answers in Sarah’s book. God richly bless the both of you.
Power is not about arriving it’s about becoming. If we’re not showing up in our power then we are waisting our inheritance as the children of God. .. major bars
Great Show 🫡
I believe that a truly powerful person is vulnerable to the One who has ALL POWER. Sarah indirectly and directly conveyed that POWER MOVES EVERYWHERE. GOD IS the only One who is Omnipresent! I loved this episode‼️💯💚
"I Believe A Truly Powerfull Person is Vulnerable to the One Who Has ALL POWER" #Barz 🔥👏🏽👏🏽🙌🏽
I just want to thank you so much for having Sarah and for this video. Anthony, thank you for sharing your experience and impact that the book had on you. Your vulnerability and openness is truly a testament of your humility and desire to be a better version of yourself. ❤
I have been waiting on Anthony to have to revelation and this conversation! His heart yearns for love, I pray on your journey to EXPERIENCE IT! God can hold your heart as you open it up to love.
I learned to give your whole self in a relationship, when you see that it was brought by God. To allow yourself to be vulnerable, instead of moving in fear.
This was much needed. Another amazing show!!! Thank you!!!
I was very blessed by your willingness to be transparent so that transformation can happen. Sarah & her husband are two of my favorite couples ❤❤❤ God bless you all... love the content
24:29 So powerful! We have a choice to be who we are
It was a very good show with Pastor Sarah Jake’s Roberts. I think Anthony being transparent about himself in trying to find a mate and her advice will help other men to look inwardly and help them understand themselves. It also helps women to understand men. Thanks for having her and I know Power Moves will be a blessing to everyone that will read it.
This episode has enabled me to see how I need to evaluate my life and purpose. I feel a great need to start a journey to regain my power.
As for A.Oneal, I believe the women for you will be a women that has her own things going own, Christian, compliments you, and has just enough of softness as she does strength. 😊
I would love a copy of the book. Today’s show I love the part when Sarah said her husband asked her how can I serve you? And I thought I wouldn’t had it all together to know what to say. Her response was I didn’t know what to say. It made me feel ok to not know all the answers but gave me something to explore and work towards. Oh and the fact we established that women can build. I love the host questions and comments about how his parents gave great influence on his relationships . The truth mine did too. Very introspective.
There is nothing like a vulnerable man.
Love you.
You are a great man:
I know it hurts but don’t keep bringing up what went on with your mother and stepfather.
Trust that you are going to build your relationship the way that see fit for the both of you. What if she came and said well my mom didn’t believe in having the man lead?
Y’all have to build your own experiences, your own tolerances, your own beliefs together.
We can’t control everything and how the other person is.
But you can let go
Love
Let her Love on you and keep it going.
He’s an awesome man if God and when you ask him to Guide you
Let him☝🏽
I loved the fact that you don't have to always be strong. You can allow yourself to be vulnerable
This is really a deep conversation, I was asking my friend dinma similar question about trusting God with outcome, and this advise Sarah gave about trying to be open and allow yourself to be love regardless of the fear of failing was really a deep one for me to allow myself to be love
Such a powerful conversation ❤❤❤❤I definitely need this book if we aren’t operating in our power, we are doing God a disservice and allow God to fully move through us and help us become the person God created us to be. I definitely would love to be gifted thus book :)
If I were to talk with you directly, Mr. Anthony Bernard O’Neal, I would agree with Pastor Sarah’s statement wholeheartedly, “As someone shows themselves as a part of God's plan for your life that you're going to have to trust God.” Trusting God in decision making is one of the most powerful action steps you, myself, or anyone can make. Seeking and consulting God is the first, what I would call, the wisdom step. Next, taking the time to listen and trust what God says, follows.
I learned to appreciate my journey and to appreciate his and how we've met at this point in the journey to be strengthening and vulnerable, and they're both great and needed. This interview is going on my playlist! It has so many nuggets of wisdom and AO, I appreciate your transparency. This was real talk 😃
