Very nice rip. My budget isnt up to hobby heights so it’s fun to watch. I think Shota is having a real good year. I like him more than Yamamoto personally. I also am loving the ‘24 look, especially the horizontal ones.
You may be kinda numbed on the relic but Charlie Blackmon is a solid player ( and IMO underrated). Also agree with the MOJO look. Very shiny, like a newly minted penny.

Would have been great if your phone played Garth Brooks Thunder Rolls😂 I usually buy a jumbo to get 2 silver packs but not sure this year with the price increase. Probably in for some retail and buy singles of the Cubs. I like the all star game inserts so do singles of that as well. Thanks for sharing!

Awesome first card of the box!! In my opinion, a decent box, and for me personally, one I woulda been happy with. Sorry you didn’t get your boy. I agree with you, like the covering the field inserts.
The mojo pack notwithstanding, after the huge cut from 36 to 24 packs years ago, do we really need to cut further down to 20? Don’t like that. Thanks for sharing!
Yeah, that pack quantity drop was disheartening. Jumbos are way too expensive, so a hobby box was the only choice - and then it dropped 1/6th in product. Ah well, we can only buy what we can buy. I think breakers are now the way a lot of people will get cards, and Fanatics might just be pivoting to make that their big money haul.

Junior Caminero won't be in the Mojo packs for Series 2, he was in the Series 1 1989 set and 1989 Mojo.

@@DavidGonos then again, I wasn't expecting Elly to have a second 1989 card, but I saw one pulled, and it wasn't a Mojo, although, I did see one of those pulled as well. Who knows what Topps will do. They probably secretly put SSP Skenes in the Mojos, waiting for someone to rip one on camera.

@@DavidGonos just watched somebody rip a case of Jumbos and they pulled a Caminero Mojo with a nice photo variation, so glad I left the door open to Topps doing the less obvious choice. 🤣

@@DavidGonos well majority cares about the money which is why these hobby boxes are hundreds of dollars. For example bowman. No way should a bowman jumbo be 600 dollars
