Very well thought through for a one to two person short period camping/overlanding. Neat. I suppose that a extended trip with two persons require a trailer for the gear if you don't pack like a hiker. We once went three persons in a two door Grand Vitara for over four days. The Suki was loaded to the limit.
Yeah mate I reckon the sweet spot is 2 passengers for 1-3 nights. Any more than that and you’re probably going to need some well planned stop offs in civilisation. Thankfully not an issue here in the UK though.
John R cheers John mate. It’s all trial and error. Got some things I still want to try but the goal is to keep it minimalistic. We’re not doing long overlanding trips or expeditions, so lots of the cool kit is just overkill.

Dear Geordie, I like these videos. Regarding the "BOOT LINER 4:00 • Rubber load tray area by Suzuki" from where did you buy? And how did it cost? Thank you,
Arvinrent Rental hello 👋🏼 I bought it from a Suzuki dealership in the UK www.suzuki-shop.co.uk/Load-Area-Tray £63. I’ve since seen some great options that are less cost on eBay too rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F254434224031 I think that one may extend a bit further towards to rear seats too. Hope this helps buddy
Hello, random Q, but what are the boots you're wearing? I did look to see if anyone else had asked but sorry if you've had this before. Love your videos though and the detail you've put into all the modifications.
Hi, with stock suspension I felt having less than 60kg total roof was best. 70kg at a push but even with OME suspension I prefer the feel of my current setup which is 52kg (load bars, awning, tent). That's just me however, I see many Jimny's with what must be 80kg+. I tried 72kg at one point but it was forever on my mind while driving as it was definitely effecting how safe it was.
Thanks Darren. Where I shot that video I'd not be allowed to stay the night. I sneaked there during the day for a nicer backdrop than my front street :) As for places to camp. Obviously there's lot of great UK campsites that many allow cars onto and there's some wild camping style commercial sites too that gets you back to nature a bit. There's not total freedom as you'd expect given that all land in the UK is owned but there's options for sure. And many more in Scotland.
Geordie Jimny Camper haha thought so. Can I ask how long you waited for delivery on your Jimny? Apologies if already been discussed, only just happened to stumble across your channel while looking at reviews.
