You guys should watch legend of korra, second avatar book. It blew my mind cos it was on nikolodon and they didn’t mean for the two female characters to get together but the fans started noticing their chemistry and then they just went for it. I have never seen a cartoon do that before and it’s got a similar vibe to she ra.
I honestly thought up until they kissed that the show was at best going to leave it ambiguous, because I really never expected to see anything like this. I am still stunned, and so hopeful that this is gonna be a dam-breaking moment for television and films.

I remember watching Steven Universe before She-ra, and Stevonnie had my favorite voice actress and the VA for Opal came second. So when I first heard Catra, it immediately clicked with her voice actress and her voice became one of my favorites. Because I didn't hear much of Stevonnie, Catra was refreshing for me and not to mention she was an amazing, well rounded character as well.

I absolutely love Catra’s voice, I literally watch a bunch of these interviews because I love listening to AJ talk lol. Something about the kind of deep, roughness to it is so phonetically pleasing to me.

touching more on the "I've never seen that on tv before" train of thought, the first time I cried this season was because of netossa and spinerella. seeing two happy married women together, kissing on screen, and specifically calling each other wives, even after being separated via prime, their relationship never took a hit--- that's powerful. it's not often you get to see that, where not only is it two women kissing on screen, but two happy, already married women kissing on screen. they have their happy ending. it shows that it's possible for two women to get married and be happy, and that just isnt something we see much on TV, and even out of the ones I have seen, this was the first one that had characters I connected with be that representation.
She-ra 's new outfit kinda looks like it was based off her friends, in the transformation scene the boots looks winged like Glimmer's shoes, the heart on the outfit's chest represents Bow's crop top, and She-ra's crown kind of resembles Catra's crest.

besides that heart that represents bow and the mask that does the same for catra, i would add that those wings on boots that appear through she-ra's transformation reminds me swiftwind and she-ra's ponytail is like adora's one. so it's about her friends and accepting herself. when i noticed it i thought THIS is powerful
i really love she ra honestly we need an epilogue seeing catra and adora and everyone together bringing magic back to the universe and being happy together Hell if they made that a new season where you see them going to new worlds to bring magic back to the planets horde prime destroyed i would be ready for it I dont want the story to end here with these characters even if its comics i need it

It always so weird (in a very good way) to hear their VAs , I only see and hear Catra and Adora.
This whole interview was amazing, I really resonated with Noelle when she spoke about not really enjoying romance when she was younger, I'm just so happy about how far she's come and the whole series was just... perfect

Even though I had the ending spoiled for me months before I watched the show, because I existed on Tumblr and She-Ra was everywhere on there, The Kiss still managed to get to me.
Even though I went in knowing it would happen, the emotions leading up to it, the character arcs building to that perfect crescendo, was so incredibly well done that my brain switched off and just enjoyed what was happening, and I actually gasped when Catra said "I love you!"
Kudos to Noelle, the cast and everyone else involved in the show, for managing to drag me into their world and characters so much that I forgot I knew the ending, and just got swept along in the emotion of the moment.
Man the part where the guy was talking withe the woman who played Adora, in the subtitles it was written Hatcher instead of Catra I can't-

I’m so fucking happy she drew her experiences from Sam and Frodo in LOTR. They were just perfect and their relationship was so intimate and beautiful no matter how you look at it. Thank you, Noelle for She-ra. Catradora would make Sam and Frodo proud 😘
I think... it absolutely made sense and was incredibly powerful and satisfying that Catra and Adora declaring/realizing their love for one another was the climax of the story. That was how things needed to be.
But! But-but-but! The fact that this happened after four seasons of escalating conflict, I feel like the show really needs an extended epilogue of sorts. Some time with the scales tipped in the other direction. Maybe just another episode or two would have been enough, but I would be here for a movie, a sixth season, or both. Something softer and less intense, with plenty of room for the characters to figure out who they are and where they want to go... after the war.
The way noelle talks reminds me of rebecca sugar's. Their voice is so soothing i could listen to them for dayss

This whole show is just amazing in so many ways. Spinnerella in particular means so much to me. Seeing a badass, caring, plus size character in a healthy gay relationship is something I've just never seen before. It was so needed and I just love it deeply.
I WANTED AJ TO SAY HER FAMOUS “hey adora.” SO BADLLLYYY. I also love AJ sm though because her character shines through her actual, and natural self because her voice sounds so much like catras voice naturally without forcing it. a lot of times it just sounded like catra that’s it.

Wow, what really hits me about Noelle is that she's so intelligent and thoughtful and innovative. She has really thought a lot about this stuff, it wasn't just genius instict that was guiding her, it was conscious intelligent choice. A show is only as good as its story and acting. The voice actors for EVERY character was spot on and immersed my entirely in the show. The story was fabulous and well paced and kept us happy. absolutely happy i could watch it and be part of the fandom and thankyou all so much for what you do. thankyou for being awesome and be safe.

I love how perfectly it was wrapped up in the end. I just wish there was more. I wanna see like a movie of that last best friends squad adventure. I wanna see a cute season with an episode for everyone to shine. I wanna see a spin off with the star sibs. I just want to see so much more. It's such a powerful series and it's so amazing and I don't want that to be compromised for the sake of more content. I just want to see more of these amazing characters. I think i'm still in denial over it being over.

If you think about it She-ra and The Princesses of Power is a really good fanfiction that Noelle was able to make into a show.
honestly the "I love you" is just so so powerful. it's like with Schitt's Creek, David's and Patrick's relationship, the way their love is portrayed is so different from everything I've seen before, so much better. their first "I love you"s also felt so powerful to me :')

@ of course. But that double "I love you" from Glimmer wasn't platonic. It was too emphatic to be. Also, there were frequent subtle signs that they were getting romantically close even before that (Bow's hand on Glimmer's arm while they're sleeping for example). Besides, that forehead kiss was a reminder of Angella and Micah's goodbye kiss. I thought it was very obvious and far from implicit.
I'm dying for a move-like while Catradora goes around the universe ridding the world of the rest of Horde Prime, they discover the Magicats and Catra's species!

I can answer a few....Grayskull was the name of the rebellion that Mara fighting for/with. They couldn’t get copyright the He-Man so he unfortunately Not be in canon.

It's interesting how Noelle talks about the kiss as something that she needed to see. Because for me was totally unexpected. In my 26 years of seeing cartoons I much more expected to see it ending platonic as always has been, and after seeing it I couldn't believe it. After hearing her now I understand that in that moment I didn't know that was something I wanted to see too. Thanks you Noelle Stevenson.
