I have used the Epson metal plates for years without any problems. The poly plate material has been a nightmare. Toning, framing, premature plate failure, blurred and ghosted images.
@@garyg8540 I found an old Kimosetter 340. It also is a polyester plate but we do not have any of problems that the inkjet poly plates exhibited. Also worked with Dotworks to use the Jetplate positive plate in the Epson. Requires a post image UV exposure and processing. The plates seem to be good. They do offer a complete system. Rip Printer and processor.
I do have a used plate oven from the CTP 7900 system which I can no longer use.

Hi. Did you ever find a replacement metal alternative? Having the same issues with the polyesters.

@@jaysongossett3410 appreciate the feedback my friend. Thanks.
Same. It seems like every other plate we burn is bad. I hate these poly plates.
