Where were the ushers? I'm baptist and when someone in the congregation gets too emotional like this, the ushers come to soothe and calm them down.

I remember getting publicly called out for praying and worshipping quietly at a revival. You really can't win at these churches which is why I pray and worship in the privacy of my own home.

I've been in services were someone will raise their voice over everybody, almost disrupt and the pastor would say ushers/nurses assist that sister. Not come out of praise like he did. I've also seen pastors say "let's praise The Lord and worship" that usually drown out the off spirit. The word says(in part) we must worship in spirit and in truth..so, the true worshippers will stand even over the fleshy performer(s). It was definitely a teachable moment but, in love for a later time.
I grew up in the church and is a PK. I am so tired and disheartening at the state of today's church. Many of these leaders are called by man, but not God. There is a difference.
There is telling what that sister went through during the week...what God may have delivered her from, or who the loved one is that she is praying and fasting for. They could have been her breakthrough with God, and she cut it off in his flesh.
The prayer warriors should have surrounded and prayed with her. This tells me that he does not have the gift of discernment.

He was trying to usher in the Holy Spirit, while the woman was in the midst of “getting the holy ghost!” 😊 All they needed to do was to have someone go over to comfort her, and perhaps “quiet” her. It’s all good! He certainly could have been more empathetic.
Why couldn’t the ushers take her out. I don’t know what that lady was crying about, but she could have been in emotional pain or needed to cry out to God. I think he was inappropriate. I agree with Diva.

He was very wrong in what he said and how he reacted towards her. If he is a true man of God, he would have Spiritual discernment about the woman. The Holy Spirit would’ve told him what she is going through, struggling with. I am so sure that God was giving her inner healing.
She was me, years ago, in church. I was molested and raped as a child. God was healing me from ALL of that trauma. And even if she did it every Sunday, with God doing inner healing and deliverance, it is a process. Everything doesn’t come out all at once. If God did that, she would collapse spiritually, mentally and physically.
The body of Christ needs more compassion, empathy and sympathy for those who are hurting on the inside.

God let's us know when a pastor is no longer anointed, and doing his own thing. It's up to us to decide if we want to continue to sit beneath a false prophet.
Order would have been to have an usher, a nurse, a woman preacher or someone with the gift of intercession to go to this young lady and simply touch her shoulder at his direction. If she was really in the Spirit, she would have responded to that touch. You don’t demonize a soul.

Someone from the congregation said the lady does that every time he tries to pray. They said the woman had been doing it & getting louder & louder each time which is distracting. She said a lot of the congregation were getting annoyed with her

Of course church is a business. It is both because the employees have to be paid and the bills too. Yes, the Word of God is taught there, but it has a business side to it as well.

I agree with you Diva, I would have along with my elders embraced her, asked the women elders or ministers to take her out to a room where they could find out what was bothering her and then ministered to her. We must be very mindful of how we treat people. God knows I have cried out in church.#HeWasWrong
I speak from experience here!! Sometimes a person has held so much in!! The wailing “in the spirit” is an actual release!!! No one can tell another person how to worship or cry out to GOD……There are times when LIFE just cracks you OPEN and all you can do is cry out LOUD….. Keion is a disgrace to the body of Christ….. When does the performance STOP and the healing begins???!!??!
He probably got upset because he couldn't hear hisself talk, and she probably was breaking his concentration. He saw it as a distraction. But she probably was burdened with some problems. People do go to church to deal with whatever situations they are going through. They are even allowed to give testimonials in front of the congregation. But honestly if I had been standing beside her, she would have scared me. I would have been looking around in shock saying "What happened?"
When I was a child going to church with my mother, I would always witness people falling back and passing out to the point of being unconscious.

The interccessors/ushers could have stepped in to calm her.
I saw this man snap his fingers. He was supposed to stop the service and address her issue, like the woman with the issue of blood. She was messing up his song.
It sounded like she was trying to get a breakthrough. Her spirit was obedient to the command to be silent (which is her spirit operating in order).
Now, with that being said, the ministerial team (Mother's, evangelical leaders, First Lady (under normal circumstances...not Shaunie), deaconesses, etc.) should have taken her out to a separate room and prayed with her until she got what she needed!
Take your blessed oil, sheets, kleenex, water, Holyghost, and get to work!!!
I grew up old-school COGIC. I've seen pastors stop service for something like this and immediately start praying for the person. I've seen them clear out the kids or even whole church (with the exception of ministerial staff) if they had to battle demons.
If this woman is doing this every week, he is failing as a leader to give her the spiritual help she needs!!!

The Bible talks about decency and order. However, we don’t know what that woman was going through. He should have went over and spoken to her directly. She would have probably calmed down. No church cannot be stopped for the needs of a parishioner. The service needed to be stopped right then and prayers should have gone up for her. These pastors need to be reminded it’s not there church. The church is not the building and it’s not the pastor; the Bible is clear the church is the people. The egos of some of these pastors isn’t very Christ like.

Did she immediately stop? I could hear folks telling her to hush. Was she interrupted? Who tells a person to hush? Who snaps fingers at a person? Would he snap his fingers and order his wife who he is the head of to quiet down in that manner? No because it's disrespectful.

The issue with most of the comments is you don't go to that Church and don't know that woman and what she has been doing. She has been disruptive and getting louder and louder every Service. He’s the shepherd of that church, maybe he knew what spirit that lady was operating under. Jesus talked to the spirit operating in Judas, Paul rebuked the spirit in a woman crying out. She was loud and disruptive. God is an orderly God. The woman was operating out of her flesh, if she was in the spirit, she wouldn’t have been disruptive.

Hey Diva, that surprised me. I am a nurse at our church. When a person is shouting, we make sure we are right by them just in case they need us. I feel that he was wrong. The Holy Spirit came throughout that young lady body. Let that lady praise God if she wants to he doesn't know her story. I have never seen anything like this . We have to get our praise on God is too good to us 🙌🙌
He didn’t tell the lady to shut up. He told her to hush. I was irritated by her sound even before I knew what he was going to do. He had every right to stop her just like a judge in a courtroom have right to call for order.

No sir ,no sir, he was absolutely wrong if infact the Holy Spirit was using him at that moment to minister in song and not words we don’t know what the Holy Spirit was doing at that moment in that individual life there was possibly a braking in that individual that the lord was trying to do and it’s important to remember we are on God timing not of our own this situation is a perfect example why people don’t go to the house of the lord anymore just read a lot of comments having issues with the house of god and the Christian community as a whole this particular situation and you’ll find in the timeline we are living in we have to become more sensitive to the move of the Holy Spirit I pray this individual was not hurt or felt embarrassed because if so she’ll probably find it difficult to continue to be apart of this ministry this is what we call church hurt pastor/preachers/ church leaders lay members it’s so important for all of us to allow the Holy Spirit work on us and through I think this pastor feelings and flesh got in the way what might have been a breakthrough for this individual or her way of expressing how good God is by crying out we don’t know but he should have allowed the Holy Spirit moving accordingly to his will not the pastor flesh
