Thank you, Vivian, for all your hard work. I am an intermediate learner at sewing but a novice at pattern cutting , and I find your tutorial so clear and easy to follow. May God continue to bless you and increase you.
I loved this video! Thank you! A tip: instead of measuring the whole way around the opening for the band, you can also just measure from the center point on the back of the neck to the bottom and multiply that number by two (and then add your extra to that number). This might be easier than trying to wrangle the measuring tape the whole way around, and having to keep track of where the tape ended and starting again.
Hey Vivian … thank you .. thank you so much .. for such detailed explanation… it is so easy for us to understand… you are brilliant.. and you are doing a marvelous job on your channel .. you are creative … stylish .. may god bless you in everything you do .. ❤❤
I’m an absolute beginner and have decided to learn how to sew outfits for myself and this video is by far the best one. Very detailed and easy to follow. There are other videos where I end up giving up mid way because it just all over the place but this was impressive. Thank you. New subbie ❤️❤️
Wow....love your tutorials.....You are amazing tutor.God bless. Pls if i want to use vintage or chiffon material , will 3 yards be enough for hip 46 . thanks
Hi, I need a bit more explanation about the band. Am I sewing it closer to the neckline? Does that mean the end of the band that is not sewn flaps up? Thanks!
Her kimono is so long that she couldn’t cut the band in one cut so she has two pieces. Take those two pieces and sew them together. Put the seam of that now long piece at the center of the neckline. Sew down one side and then the other. When you hem the bottom of the kimono, you will take care of the ends of the band then.
Thanks for the video, it’s my first time cutting and sewing, it was really helpful. Pls the 15 inch was to big for me, what measurement is it? It makes the hand so large and how can I adjust it since it’s already cut. Thanks
She divided her hip measurement by 4 and added 2 inches for seam allowance. (Or the widest part of your mid-section of your body) I hope this helps. Enjoy your week, sweetie.
The most detailed video I have ever watched. Perfect for beginners. Thank you
I must confess, you're a great teacher.

Use your desired Width. ( wideness )
@@VivianOkeke have cut it before seeing the largeness, how can I reduce it, that it won’t affect the armholes? Thanks
Is must you will use your half length as seleve length
No that’s why I said
How wide you want the sleeves
How far should I measure down to add pockets?
Pls did you use the back of the tape rule to measure 3.5 inches
How many yards of fabric is this Kimono made from?
This should be about 4 yards
can I use 3 yards?
❤❤
Thank u darling ,which pants can i design for this kimono
Straight cut palazzo
