I can't believe how much work you put out in these reactions. Honestly there are many channels reacting on IU now, specially since HEREH tour started, but no one put this much thought and work. I'll stan IU till the end, I'll follow everybody who spreads the word about her talent and I'll help them with the little I know about the real IU. Here though, is a pleasure. Thanks again and I do hope you get the viewer attention you deserve.💜
Thank you so much! 😊 I really just try to put out the content that I would want to watch, so I’m glad that some people feel the same, comments like yours really warm the heart! Looking forward to continuing down the IU rabbit hole with you!
small detail but for the red shoes, the official lyrics states "brown hair" as that's her hair during the MV, but for every live performance, she change the lyrics to match her hair that performance
@@SylverReacts you should see The Red Shoes mixed stage (pls seach that term). She went to MANY music shows in that era, and switch to different styles. Red hair, blond, black, short hair, long hair ❤❤ thus those change in lyrics ...
A ton of people have told me this is their favorite or one of their favorites and I can see why after hearing it, it’s so different and refreshing and these tracks are fantastic! Looking forward to part two!
One of my most favourite album of her after palette and love poem. I'm really glad you are enjoying this journey. I appreciate your efforts you are putting on this deep dive on IU despite of her huge discography. You are doing great.
Love of B, Everyone Has Secrets, Between the Lips (50cm) - create such an amazing vibe. And I love how they explore important themes in relationships. Thank’s for your reaction❤️
Everyone Has Secrets was my favorite IU song for a long long time. Then, the Lilac album came and gave us My Sea haha. Gain is part of Brown Eyed Girls, as is Narsha who is in Heroes with IU.
Jukjae is the guitarist for ‘Love of B’ - and is a lead guitarist in her band. He is also a well respected solo artist with some very good songs. She had him as her first guest on what has become her must-see Palette show. The Jukjae episode is really great.
There's quite a context behind this. The time is 2013 (she's only 20 years old!!!) if you dig deeper, you'll realize iu released this jazz/swing dominated album after a big scandal. A scandal that could easily kill her career. But she bravely released this kind of challenge/ half experimental album. Also, she tries to change her image as innocent "nations little sister" by doing bolder lyrics and concept.... I think these all are very difficult, and the fact that modern times (and modern times : epilogue) becomes such a classic underrated kpop album is so awesome.
"Love of B" last performance done at her "Homebody Signal Concert" during Covid. Yes, Jukjae was invited as a guest and he is well known solo singer and musician too and played several time as a guitarist for IU's concert. This episode is inofficial episode #1 of IU Pallete music show. She brought out the idea from this episode. Gain is well known member of girl group "Brown-eyed Girls"
I finally have the time to watch the reaction of this wonderful album 😍 I really like your method! Even though i've seen almost all of iu's performances, I always find at least one that is "new" to me... And today i'm really surprised to realize how young IU was in the Modern Time era 😱 About the guitarist in Palette, even though he played Love of B with her at the concerts, it had been a long time since he played it, that's why they had fun with this "experiment" 🤣

Oh that’s a fun little Easter egg 😊

Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll look into it 👀
One of my top favorite albums.
This is Art
💯
Billboard has this as the #2 Greatest K-Pop Album of the 2010s (deserved). I personally have this as my 2nd favorite IU album next to Palette.

Thank you for watching with me! And I agree, immaculate vibes

Everyone has secrets is fantastic, so I can see why! Ahh I didn’t realize that, but then again I know very little about Brown Eyed Girls!
Modern time is lit 🔥
💯🔥

He’s a phenomenal guitarist, when we start getting into Palette, I’m looking forward to his episode!

Really like this album, looking forward to part 2.
my favorite album ❤
It’s so cool, don’t think I’ve heard anyone do anything quite like this before in K-pop
Thanks for the reaction once again! ❤
My absolute pleasure 😊
