If you could please answer a couple questions, I'd appreciate it a bunch. Did you just plug in some amp presets and a tube screamer from like 2:00 on? Or did you go in and scoop out some mids and do some major EQ work on the amp setting as well as tube screamer or transparent drive? Just wondering how much effort got you to that blackface bluesy tone with that TS circuit bite. Has been the best video I've seen at actually replicating what I think was a blackface super reverb.
Is the FM9 pretty easy as far as navigation and setting up different settings and are they pretty manageable off the bat or did you find yourself going beyond the basic knob controls and having to mess with each pedal or amps EQ settings to really find what you were after?
I'm fairly serious about purchasing an Fm9 for recording, session work, and certain gigs but I'm very picky. I gig a 67 super reverb and have my select pedals I use and don't want to throw $2000 at something I won't be content with but I'm absolutely persuaded after hearing you through this one.
I like the idea of options and also conserving my mint 60s blackface bc I told myself I wasn't going to gig regularly with it but have found myself bringing it to every gig bc my twin and deluxe just don't do it for me.
Thanks for the video and would really appreciate discussing this thing as you're the "closest to home" I've seen of a player demoing one of these. Usually get crazy stacked modulation effects and nonsense so this was a breath of fresh air with some solid chops 👌 👍. Looking forward to hearing more and hopefully you wouldn't mind discussing your time with it. I can venmo or cashapp you for your time on a phone call even, I'd appreciate it that much. 🍻
I noticed you had a laptop in the video. Was this laptop connected to the FM9 and was that an Editor I saw on the laptop screen? If yes, Please explain which Editor you were using. Thank you. Loved your tone and feeling!

Lol. God damn agree. Fractal's are Fractal-FREE from CG, Sweetwater, Musicansfriend, and every major and minor music stores worldwide anywhere. Fractal is only sold directly to us (customer). If this guy was able to test it, then god damn....he's the lucky's person I've seen anywhere. I had to put into the Fractal "Waitlist"; then I had to buy it until I'm able to try it. Lol.
By the way, this guy, who was lucky to test FM9, he had no idea how powerful this system is. The PRESETS are just ok-ok presets. If this guy knows how to adjust or deep into it, man....this Fractal will bring out the real sound you hear in your head. This is why I returned my Helix and sold all my amps. Lol. (Of course, it's probably subjective).

Let me ask you, how was your experience with FM9?
I'm looking to buy my first digital processor and I keep wondering which one to buy, the Quad Cortex or the FM9.
Which one did you like better?
IMO : Fractal Audio FM9 : Everything good , Good Tones , Too many Input and Output but I am worry about weight. FM9 Is 11 lbs (5.4 Kg) I can carry it. It too big for me.
Neural QUADCORTEX a little light weight 4.2 lbs (1.9 kg) and touch screen display is very good.
Now I use Quadcortex for my main Pedalboard.
I think both are very good sound but I little different function. It’s depends on your.

have you tried to use in one scene like overdrive and delay plus chorus , and then change to a scene with other amp, other delay (completely different) and do you know if this doesnt have the gap of sound when you tap between the scenes ? i have the AX8 and helix and they do that little cut when changing scenes , nice video btw !
Sorry I have no idea because I just tried it in the guitar shop.I didn’t buy it.

A new firmware release recently fixed these issues. You can change scenes or even entire presets without experiencing gap issues.

Yes. I just updated my FM9 Turbo's new Firmware since they released the NEW "No GAP" firmware some weeks or one or two months ago. I can change any SCENEs (w/ any effects) to other PRESETs as well. There's NO GAP. It is NOW seamless: A to B to C, etc. I love it, man.

การใช้งาน FM9 ก็จบในตัวดีครับ ต่อ Expression เพิ่มสักตัวก็จบแล้วครับ เพราะ I/O ให้มาเยอะมากครับ
ส่วนน้ำหนักตัวนี้ 5.4 kg ครับ มีโอกาสลองไปสัมผัสตัวจริงได้แล้วครับ Stringsshop หรือไม่ก็ CTMUSIC ครับ

not good , poor digital sound , al all digital boys ,,analog sound is alvays better

This is actually the best modelled version of a clean bluesy super reverb type spanking tube acreamer pushing a blackface circuit via low output mid scooped strat pickups, via SRV feather fingers I've heard in the several years I've been contemplating buying while on a 2 year wait list for a modulator unit like the FM9
