What an epic thrift!! Don’t you just love it when you find that perfect piece?? I’m always excited to see your videos pop up and looking forward to next week. 🎉
Wow, you picked up and looked at a covered sugar bowl I was looking for, to match my creamer. I see you didn't buy it. So, in I go to Value Village to see if it's still on the shelf! Hope so! The brass and copper vase is really nice!
I didn't find the lidded sugar bowl, but I did find one without a lid. I think the one you picked up was a bigger sort of candy dish, which I did see. Cameras sometimes distort sizes a bit. It's ok though, I found some Dynaware and Glassbake milkglass cookware in pristine condition! A couple other things too. A good day!
I must tell you that in one video you found an old cookie tin which you showed but put back. I screenshot that tin and found three or four for quite a bit more than GW. We had that tin in our bathroom for years and wanted a suitable tin for my dog’s cremated remains. All the dogs have one. My girls are always close but nobody knows.
Our Value Village here in Nanaimo, BC is filled with so much garbage. Broken and useless hard goods. I have told husband to remind me the next time I want to go to Value Village that "no, no, you don't"
Same here in Nova Scotia. My daughter went to try on some jeans once and, thankfully before she had started to get trying she noticed a (l will say this as best l can) feminine hygiene, used product in the crotch😱 So we're very wary of clothes buying. Mostly rubbish like you say. And here the prices are extortionate too!
That's really too bad. The Calgary ones are pretty good about not shelving broken items - they go straight into the dumpster. Are there any good thrift stores out in Nanaimo?
Oh really? I must have come when they had spent some time re-shelving. Honestly was surprised to find as much here as I did - last time I went it wasn't as good.
Stay tuned for next week's Goodwill grand opening video!
Those racks are also insanely useful! The crewel piece is adorable.

Thanks Mary! Ya such a thrill. Definitely one of my favourite finds from the whole year
That large pressed glass piece could be used for wine or stunning for flowers.
Wastebasket, huge! So is the price! Crazy prices , given to you for free , and charging to high , for secondhand!
Absolutely - even if you got it on a half-off day - still a lot!
And the CEO of value village makes like a couple million a year. I once saw a man's winter coat for 199.99!!!!
That crewel piece is EVERYTHING!!!! ❤❤❤
Thank you!! I love it so much. Just need to get it up on the wall.
@@bluehousevintage Would love to see it on your wall!
Would have loved that horse! Super cute.
Love the ten dollar vase!
Thanks!! Me too - so neat! I haven't seen a brass one like that before. I think it will sell well
This Vallue Village is much more clean than the ones, in Quebec city! Prices seem to be more raisonable, too!

OH MY, YESSSS indeed!!! That is happiness. Love the swans as well... You had a lovely time, thank you for sharing your fun 😆💖
I use the Tupperware pickle strainer for washing cleaning Jools. Dip and strain.
That's a great use for it!!!
Who ever does the pricing is carried away, some of these prices are more than new
Oh for sure!! Thrifting isn't cheap anymore sadly

Oh my god! I guess you can find more than you bargained for at the thrift!!

Umbrella stand ?
Oh ya it probably was! Good call!
Horse was blue mountain pottery

pls get me the marbles!
Oh no I put the marbles back! Any marbles you are looking for specifically? Let me know and I'll look for some
@@bluehousevintage I doubt you can ship them to me anyway I’m in the US
@@bluehousevintage but as long as they’re glass shooters, regular size milk I don’t care I love them ever since hook
@@specialblackburn8541 I can definitely ship them no problem. I’ll keep my eyes out
pricey for a thrift store.
Why would u only allot yourself less than an hr at a new store? Makes no sense.
