Being in your EEZ does not establish property it is your property. Being your EEZ just means you have exclusive rights to explore and develop the natural resources underneath the waves, that's it. THe EEZ is international waters, every ship of any nationality has a right to pass or be in it. The only sovereign waters of the Philippines extends 12 miles from the shore. This is what most filipinos is ignorant of.

Filipinos doesn’t usually wants war they are known as defensive people even their characters as people are defensive not invasive. Being in your EEZ does not establish property it is your property. Being your EEZ just means you have exclusive rights to explore and develop the natural resources underneath the waves, that's it. THe EEZ is international waters, every ship of any nationality has a right to pass or be in it. The only sovereign waters of the Philippines extends 12 miles from the shore. This is what most filipinos is ignorant of.

Oops, this is in-accurate. The scarborough shoal is not part of the spratly islands but a shoal near the Philippines and deep within the Philippine EEZ. It was not claimed by china or Taiwan at all until they just to decided grab it under the failed leadership of former president Aquino and the trust he naively given to the Americans.
The altercation in august where the chinese coastguard fired water cannons to the Philippine ships happened not in the scarborough shoal but in the 2nd thomas shoal. That shoal is the one that belonged to the Spratlys and yes it is farther from the Philippines than the scarborough but still well within tne Philippine EEZ.
