Thanks for watching and commenting! I'm a huge fan of the coin and the box was something that my brother had given me and said "when the right coin comes up you should use this box" so here we are! ☺️
Always presenting some interesting stuff Matt, terrific overview about the history of the gold sovereign, your brother made a very cool box, unfortunately my pockets aren't deep enough for this coin, thanks for sharing your knowledge. Cheers Peter J 😂👋👍
Thanks for watching!! I hope all is well over in your part of the world ☺️ my brother was definitely blessed with the gift of patience when it comes to his projects he is VERY particular with his work!
A totally wonderful video and a great box too. I collect Sovereigns, I typically buy just the bullion grade coins, they are a great investment and full of historical interest. I did enjoy the video. Thank you for making this.
Thanks so much for watching and for the kind words, I'm really glad you enjoyed it and hope you continue to enjoy the wonderful world of sovereign collecting ☺️
The power of the hand's almost flicked me outta my chair young fella 0:47...lol. Thanks for the video Matt, it ticked all my box's, historical, and informative now to sell enough BN Stickers so as to be able to purchase a $2700 coin
Wow what a beautiful box, that brother of yours is an absolute weapon!! I think he might need to pump out a few more to sell on your website, they are great. Thanks for the video Matt!
You ROCK!!! Love the content thank you for your time and the knowledge sir! A WONDERFUL week ahead to you, your customers, viewers and entire family!!! Stay safe and Peace from the Sunflower State!!!
I’m familiar with the woodworking technique? But didn’t know the name 🙏. Basically, Kumiko comes from the verb ‘Kumu “ -to assemble ( no fixings, screws, nails, glue etc) and “ko” which is a honorific for ‘person’👌. Respect to your brother 👌, it’s quite tricky🔨🪚
Hi Matt I have just started watching some of your videos on coins incredibly informative. Are you have a real energy for this topic? I’m a carpenter by trade, so I can appreciate the work that your brother put into making that box for the 1817 sovereign I am interested in starting to collect some coins and establishing something to passing on to my children Sorry that I missed the Kensington show couldn’t get there due to work commitments
Thanks for watching Mark! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the video :) My brother will be very happy to hear the positive feedback from a carpenter too! I'm sure I'll be attending many more coin shows in the future so hopefully we'll meet at one down the line!
great video again Matt!! thanks for the info, and the enthusiasm you share in all your vids!! keep em coming! and tell your brother that is a beautiful box!!
Thanks for watching mate!! I hope all is well in WA, make sure you circle the upcoming Money Expo in your calendar!! ☺️👍 I'll also be sure to pass on the message to my brother, he'll be very pleased!
Thanks for watching! He spent quite a bit of time on the box and I was VERY impressed with the outcome, I've made sure to show him all the positive comments too ☺️
Thanks for watching Hanh! The box was made prior to the coin came into my possession so they aren't necessarily related, although I'm sure with some clever story telling there would be a way to intertwine the two 😂
Thanks for watching!! I think there's a place for both in a collection but whatever floats your boat, at the end of the day it's all about what makes you happy ☺️👍
Beautiful presentation of this coin. And your brother did a great job with that box.

Yes you pronounced Kumiko correctly. Very time consuming and hard to do correctly. Your brother is talented.
Thanks for confirming! I'm also making sure he sees all these positive comments to encourage him to do more interesting pieces in the future! ☺️👍
@@ThompsonsCoins mate, I wish I had half of that talent.
Hi Matt
I have just started watching some of your videos on coins incredibly informative. Are you have a real energy for this topic?

Зачем такие тёртые монеты в гробы (слабы) закатывать!?
So, today’s video, I had a 2 for 1!!! Sovereigns being my passion and getting a shoutout 🎉. Thanks Matt🙋🏻♂️
I'm glad to have brightened up your day!! Thanks for always watching Jamie! 😄

That’s a nice coin and even nicer box 🎉🎉
Thanks for watching! He's very talented and far more patient than me 😄👏
I like the half sovereign coins. So many designs and countries.
They are a great way of collecting interesting coins with a backing of gold! Thanks for watching! ☺️
Nice coin and history lesson, but I’m more impressed by the box to be honest, beautiful piece of craftsmanship 👍
Thanks for watching! He spent quite a bit of time on the box and I was VERY impressed with the outcome, I've made sure to show him all the positive comments too ☺️
It’s a Western dragon, not an Asian one...😊
Thanks for watching Hanh! The box was made prior to the coin came into my possession so they aren't necessarily related, although I'm sure with some clever story telling there would be a way to intertwine the two 😂
Stick with .9999 not this other rubbish.
