And what a pleasure to listen to Jan's answers, my favorites being the inspiration drawn from music halls (or not) and the comparison between Shakespearian actors knowing their lines and musician's memorizing their notes. It could have gone on for several minutes longer, so thoughtfully conducted. At the close of the interview: 'I have to say this has been the highlight of all my summers ever!' Well done Gina Spencer!!!
I so enjoyed that interview, and the interviewee. Jan has a wonderful, warm personality as well as a huge talent. I must get more of his CSs and play them more often.
