same. Got my Apocalypse Navy Issue around the time I was initially subscribed...a decade ago. My main wasn't able to bring it to null (new to null lol, joined the ongoing big war), so I gave it to an alt that sometimes uses it.
The first one I owned was a Typhoon, back when Alphas could do L4s. After CCP removed that capability from Alphas, I converted it into an event runner. It can tank pretty well with an X-Type armor rep and X-Type resistances
Was in Taru too Back in 2009 with my beloved Abbadon which my Corp build for me 3 Times cause my skills was so bad and i lost it 2x. In those days even the Mission loot was much more (worth).
Yeah, Apocs are cool. However my main is Minmatar and my first BS was Typhoon, i just loved the looks of this ship. And i had ofc not the best skills back then and once i flew it to the mission i though "ooh my god, whats a fat ass, this ship barely turns and accelerates!" i did the wisest thing then and switched back to Cyclone and ran L3s until i trained my skills to effienctly fly a battleship. Anyways, years later a friend of mine built me a Machariel and that was something i've been always looking for: A battleship with a speed and agility of a cruiser ^^ I finished thousends or tens of thousends of L4 missions with this boat.
Finally! Finally a proper video dedicated to the magnificent battleship of Amarr. No seriously, no one makes videos on them! It's all about Rattlesnakes and Gilas Also 14:10 lol that was funny
Didn't get into lvl 4 missions until I was already to fly a Paladin. I definitely enjoy the hull though. Prefer minmatar ships for most missions thou, since they have more selectable damage types. But the Apoc is a nice budget friendly hull for sure.
Now you can carry a rescue frigate in the BS. Handy for the fast easy stuf. Use a explorer frigate with a missile BS also as a extra missile storage. In low slots cargo expanders so you can only load the frigate full when active.
Well, it's not bad but in my opinion beam fit is much better, Just learn to keep stuff at range. With beams you can easily insta pop almost all small stuff b4 they get close enough for tracking to be an issue and even if you can't clear all, drones can finish the job. And to kill larger ships you can just sit and shoot, don't have to waste all that time moving.
First battleship I owned was an Apoc Navy Issue. Based in Taru amarr space. Loved that ship! tracking and range.

I want to disco so bad. I haven't trained into amarr yet, sigh haha
All hail the divine light bringing armor tanker!
I love the Apocalypse, but I think I might go Abaddon since I am a tanky guy
The Abaddon is more of a beamsniper than a tank.

first biggest ship i ever flown is drake and gnosis
apocalypse andd paladin is the same
i thought you bought a nergal to do burner missions!
unfortunately, that bling repper is now like 500m instead of 100m
Aw man 😂😂😂😂 everything's getting more expensive nowadays
wait what? you love apoc hull and hate dominix? :D okay :P
yes :P
He is my boy , i have it the same way.
That fit sucks for Lvl 4s. You can do so much better.
Any notes why this sux? Maybe some too expensive moduls? T2 modules better?
