- Whilst on more Vanlife adventures while CARAVANNING AUSTRALIA we finally arrive in BROOME in WESTERN AUSTRALIA BUT is it REALLY THAT GOOD? Broome is one of those bucket list destinations whilst you’re TRAVELLING AUSTRALIA. We drove down onto the FAMOUS CABLE BEACH in our 79 Series to watch the CAMELS AT SUNSET and decided to cook our dinner on the beach so we could try out our INDUCTION COOKER for the first time. We also went on the look for DINOSAUR FOOTPRINTS at GANTHEAUME POINT, it’s a beautiful rugged coastline, making the footprints hard to find. Exploring the MARKETS and town of BROOME was great fun and full of a really chilled out vibe.
ALL the CARAVAN PARKS are really expensive but lucky for us the OVERFLOW at the Pistol Club was open and we managed to snag a spot for just $35 per night, unpowered, which is a cheap camping option for Broome. This overflow only opens when the Shire allows it to….find out more in our video.

Lov following you guys with good olde banter 😁😁😁
keep the awesomeness coming 👍👍👍
Cheers Andy🍺🍺🍺
Thanks so much for that, appreciate it. Every one is too serious these days,we love just having a laugh. Glad you enjoyed it 🤪
Nice video, you two 👍 great spot. And you did it again, another low-cost camp. 🤙🤠
Thanks guys, we always seem to sniff out the cheap ones lol 😂
Wow, what a spot to have dinner!
So romantic 🥰
The dinosaur footprints are only visible at really low tide down in the rocks otherwise covered by the tides .
Ok thanks for the info. Not sure what the tide was when we were there but it definitely wasn’t low, maybe next time we’re in the area we will check the tides. Thanks for watching 👍😊
you can work on 25-30Ah per 15mins on the induction.
Thanks for the info 👍
How was the induction. Cooker from Kmart? I don’t see you using it i. The next videos… any good?
It works really well, we have used it a few times but you have to gain the power back. We have found it’s ok for a one pot wonder but it you want to cook a couple of things at once then it’s difficult to just use induction, need gas as well. Not sure if we will take it on our top end trip (starting in April and going with just the Landcruiser and RTT) 👍
What size batterie do you have in the canopy for the induction cooker
We have a 200 lithium battery and 2000w inverter 👍
Great video!!! Takes me back to 2011 when i was up there last not long after arriving in Australia. ❤
Cant wait to do it again..... where's my bloody van 😂
Thank you so much, glad you enjoyed it. Hopefully, you won’t have too much longer to wait 👍😊
