The Car we are Reviewing today is One of the most famous cars in Pakistan, Toyota Corolla 2.0D which is also Known as Indus Corolla. This was the first Pakistani Made Corolla by Toyota Indus. It came in many variants like Corolla GLi, Corolla GL, Corolla 1.6 and Corolla 2.0D. In 1990's Diesel craze was still high and people really liked Corolla 2.0D. Toyota kept this generation of Corolla till 2002. The Model we are reviewing today is 2002, which was the last model year of This Generation. In Today's Video, we will analyze Corolla 2.0D and find out why Pakistani still love this Car so much.

Wow thats the real machine..nostalgia.the days when 2.0d was a dream of every rural guy....dark blue shade was advertised by indus motors in late 2001....2.0D limited and one rare xe limited came with sunroof too.which nobody knows

Deisel enjine chalane ka noice to mujhe music SE bi acha lagta he, bs ap chalane ka anadaz ho, especially JB gear change krne ho, 80s k aik senior ustad ne batay tha mujhe, he loved Toyota desiel engine some times he used to taste deisel also
I had this car in Maroon colour 2000 model yr,it burned in 2017,in 2016 2017 I had starting issues and ac problem.
Now I had a Civic X in Maroon colour and Cultus.I believe it had Euro 1 diesel dirty diesel noisy stincky when u rev it,I also had timing belt changed too,other wise solidity was great,and feeling that u were driving a heavy car.
diesel powered 2.0D never came with auto tranny from 1996 to 2013....but limited edition was with auto windows .these cars had more engine weight.so suspension was bit tugher than petrol powered ones....top of the line was 1.6gli auto which used toyota's 1600cc 16v efi 4afe engine(aka civilian engines) .very rare models

These corolla models by indus motors in late 90s has best soft plastics .dark grey....hinda civic 96 to 2000 has also very high quality dashboard..more beautiful door trim..japanese import corolla lx limited or se limited models of this shape had more superior interior having different door trims.especially dark brown maroon ones

Some info is incorrect relating to the model info. There wasn't any auto model in 2.0D
And the highest model was 2.0D Limited / Special Edition. Which had power windows and auto antenna, alloy wheels etc.
I have Japanese 2.0D limited in auto

I don't know why people call the new cars lifafa. That is just dumb and u don't know why they are made with aluminum. They have a kind of material that in a accident the body takes most of the damage and the impact, which resist the impact of the accident getting to the cabin. Plz change ur paindu sooch. This is the reason new cars are way more safer
Your facts hold true for international market Cars. Sorry to say but Pakistani vendors are not upto mark and Pakistani cars don't follow international Car structure safety standards. Have you ever inspected Honda City body? Or observed Civic Hood vibrations? Have you seen the line at Honda dealership with broken Civics? Can you pass these cars for international market?

First of all this "paindo" sooch is pak wheels Suneel Manjh's (who knows much much more than cars than you) . Secondly if a car of Honda civics level vibrate at 110,120 then public is open to call it lafafa like things. I can understand the physics and reason behind Aluminum or composite material (as u r not the only person with "car knowledge") used in cars but if the manufacturing is not good or upto the standard (like manufacturers do in Pakistan that they produce substandard cars than international standards) then it is public right to call it much worse things. Try to understand this.
If you have Honda Civic or some other cars and can't find the first hand problems after driving then you need to learn alot about cars dear.
I doubt Pakistani markets are producing cars with aluminum since using aluminum is far more expensive than steel and you can definitely tell Pakistani automotive industry is trying to cut costs for maximum profit by giving less safety and comfort features then why would they use aluminum in the first place
