This guy it works as a secret boss in the Xrd Sign arcade, also he was one of the four apostles that were apprentice of the Original (AKA Happy Chaos) and even so, we don't have any idea how he fights. Btw, in the Another Story of Strive shows how Xrd Faust end up as his Strive version. Leopaldon: This one is a hard to put in the game. Still, has chances to become canon to GG like what happened to ABA, for example being one of the gears that are in Ganymade (the island where some Gears lives). If they can't make him playable, probably appears as one of Paradigm's supers (it would be a good cameo). Dr. Paradigm: He could've the AC Testament mechanic, like putting traps in the scenario and adding some of his moves from Overture. Still, good pick. Gabriel: Same as Chronus, another newcomer that must be playable, IMO Unika (the new character of the anime) has more chances to be playable in Season 5 because of spoilers and we don't have in what month of 2025, the anime would be released, so I can see her being in next year Season 5 if the anime's release date ends up in fall or winter 2025, which means if we're getting a newcomer in Season 4, Gabriel has more chances, specially that he's the only newcomer that end up in the latest top 10 polls. I think there's a way for Kliff, his arcade could happen during the Crusades, there are characters that we don't know what they've done such as HC (there has to be another thing he made besides of killing Baiken's family), Nagoriyuki (when he was sealed) or even some of Kliff's past like where did he learn the magic to summon dragons, so it could be a good chance to know more about events of the Crusades by using Kliff. What we got about him is that he was Unchou (Johnny's master)'s apprentice, the japanese mad scientist who is obsessed with the gears' potential (specially DIzzy), he created the Robo-Ky series, he cloned Justice (a way to bring Justice back), has a real bad reputation due that Baiken called him a disgrace to the japanese (Baiken Story path 2 AC), Unchou for some reason sealed him into a dimensional prison, he didn't consider his past 'henious', he knows about Faust's past (Faust Story Path 1 AC) and Slayer knows he was a doctor (Slayer Story path 2 AC). Given that Venom told Faust that one of his collegues hired the assassin (Zato) to kill his patient (Faust's 3rd ending GGXX), it could be possible that the same Crow was the one who hired Zato since the PWAB worked for the Conclave. What we got in GGXX and AC story, we could have a potential villain with some Kenjaku (JJK) and Orochimaru vibes. We got villains in GG that their goals are for selfless? reasons like I-No (for a brighter future to humanity), Happy Chaos (humanity doesn't lose their emotional part), but for Crow, he has selfish reasons. What we know in the codex is that he's searching for Robo-Ky, this could be the part when Venom's retirement is over. And we don't know what happened to Crow now that Millia is in charge of the PWAB. I fully agree that the final DLC has to be someone very important in GG story. It could be Justice or Order Sol. What if the Order Sol that we're getting could be the one who survived on his fight against Commander Gear Dizzy in the timeline when Ky died? I don't think that if he ever reappears Crow will be the same character as in the XX Story games, those aren't canon as a whole. If you check his entry on GGWorld it says " His full name is Crow Kuruwaba. Some have theorized he's from Japanese origin,but that's never confirmed " And that's with AC+ having two separate characters meeting Crow and saying "Hey you're Crow Kuruwaba and you're Japanese" so that's the level of care for the XX stories Also Leopaldon is canon because it's from a game Daisuke worked in, unlike Raymond and Gig from Judgment and Dust Strikers, the Isuka trio has an entry in GGWorld but not the other two.

Honestly,I don't really like how Eddie doesn't really feel like his own character after his story in the XX games is that he's more than Zato's shadow,he should speak in conversations like that one scene in Arcade Mode for Sign. And about the Isuka trio I meant the three characters that create Leopaldon ( the Gear, the wizard pumping energy to make it move and the dog that controls it)
I was thinking maybe the justice could be a fight in the characters nightmares it could make for some cool settings without messing with the lore, and I have also thought about a really grizzled Order sol from the dark timeline missing an eye or an arm or something who magically hopped timelines or something like that would be so cool right?

My Girl! JUSTICE! She's so cool,and I think that it makes a lot of sense narratively to have her come back as well, since so much of strive is about reconciling with the past and moving forward, having the original boss of the game come back (and ideally getting more story time to herself as well) makes a lot of sense to me. And at worst they can just pull a +R and have her appearance in game be noncanon

You had me at Fanny Guilty Gear in thumbnail ...I guess there's little I can do here but gives my thoughts on all your picks 10. Chronus has been a big fave of mine, I love the potential of his and Faust's relationship, so I have lowkey been wishing for him, but never hopeful. However! In the recent French Q&A at Japan Expo, Daisuke brought up Chronus in relation to Faust, mentioning how they'd travel together for a long time and how that'd affect Chronus, so clearly the character is on his mind! Maybe he has a chance! In Vastedge his fellow Conclave member Baldias had a sorta Zato inspired moveset, seemingly also using the Forbidden Spell Life-Eating Shadow, but not sure if that'd make sense for Chronus, plus we literally have Zato already. But it'd be kinda cool to potentially introduce another Forbidden Spell for him to use, considering we only know two. As an aside, Faust in Strive actually isnt really any more depressed than before- Faust's story bits have always shown that he really was just depressed like that from the start, he'd just always hide it behind a goofy facade- Technically Faust is better now, in a sense :^Ic As for Ariels, yeah she'd really need to have been playable in Xrd, her main narrative purpose is kinda over now. Even if she were to become playable now, I feel whatever style they'd go for would feel better if we could see constrast to what she'd have played like in Xrd. That said, Daisuke also talked about her in the French Q&A when asked- mentioning without Happy Chaos she's returning to her original programming more, while also having gained the ability to feel affection for her daughters. So potential more use of her in future narrative? 9. I know people say Leopaldon as a joke, but I think they could legit pull off some cool stuff with her in Strive (the dog is a girl according to Daisuke- of course that doesnt account for the sorcerer and the Gear but yeah) I think just making the trio work somehow would be a great sight to behold, so just for that I'd want that. If they can pull it off. 8. Paradigm is a character where I could easily see them just considering him a support-only character, and yeah any gameplay he might get could overlap with Asuka, but I trust the team to find a way to make him work on his own. I think he'd be a cool addition to the roster as we're seriously lackin in non-humanoid characters like him, and he is a regular of the cast by now. 7. No notes on Gabriel really, I think you said most of what I'd say. I mean they have been teasing this guy since almost the first game (considering Johnny immediately became playable after too) And Xrd's portrayal really feels like they were either seriously considering him or just taking the piss on us. 6. For Venom, for the longest time I felt he shouldnt come back as to not pull him out of his nice narrative closure, but- I think Elphelt in Strive showed how well they could work with a character who is technically just a civilian going after their passion, not an active fighter on the scene. I'd kinda love for them to rework Venom to be baker-based, I wanna see how they'd do it. But if he's regular thats cool too. 5. I'm not overly familiar with the gameplay, but I hear Answer actually plays similar to BlazBlue's Bang Shishigami, so maybe that's something to consider for inspo? In any case I NEED him to be in Strive, cause his absence felt unreal in the story (I thiiiink he mentioned going on vacation in Xrd at some point, so maybe thats where he is) And I really need people to experience his in-battle voice lines in English just to get the full appreciation of his gimmick, its so great. 4. FANNY! My greastest hope and dream! I honestly just think she's really fun, and she'd be a great way to give the gameplay aspects that Faust has lost a comeback, more leaning towards how Baldhead was ofc. Aesthetic-wise I feel she might overlap a bit with Elphelt and A.B.A, being a sleepy, anemic girl who's defined by her obsessive passion- but to be fair she did all of this first! I've recently went and translated all the Petit 1&2 story modes, and Fanny really does feel like a character they put a lot of heart in for that little game (I mean its still super simplistic, but in the context of what those games are like in general) and seeing her appear in a """real""" game would be so nice. Obviously I'd love to see more interactions with her and Faust as well- there were some interesting ideas being brought up with them. Like in Faust's Petit 2 story, Fanny points out that Faust is overworking himself and ignoring his own health, which is something Faust has had to confront since. And in Fanny's story, Faust is clearly distressed about being confronted with his past like this, and encourages her to just forget about Baldhead. That's all stuff we could built up on with Faust's new perspective on himself, plus I like Fanny's interactions with the other cast, too. 3. Yeah Izuna has been kinda banished from the narrative cause his teleport ability was too OP for the story, but I feel they could easily just bring him back and say he lost that power now. I dont even specifically want him to be playable (tho thatd be sick) I just want to know if he's still alive, like he's good friends with Paradigm and buddies with the cast, shouldnt we care that he's gone?? 2. Zappa is pretty interesting, cause we already got to see his post 2-Xrd 6 year time skip life, unlike say A.B.A or Testament, who weren't seen in the current era until Strive. We know he's seemingly got better control over the ghosts posessing him now (or rather, he doesnt pass out from them all the time now), after understanding more of the science behind the phenomenon, but Daisuke has confirmed that he IS still possessed. It'd be interesting how this might affect his portrayal in gameplay, and it could def be used as a justification for nerfing him a bit to not be too strong. 1. Justice!!!!! Honestly that music is the only argument you needed, just hearing it turned my brain off and left only the desire to see her prosper. This must be what being a Gear is like. More seriously, I doooon't think I'd be happy with some story shenanigans bringing back the "real" Justice in some form, cause we JUST closed a major chapter of that whole story. The part of Aria that was Justice IS still within Jack-O and there was some interesting stuff there I'd maybe want the narrative to reflect on, but probably not like this. Never say never though, they might be able to make it work for me. However! I think a great non-invasive way to bring her gameplay back would be to maybe Crow's Copy Justice playable again! The one from Accent Core? I think that could be fun, plus a chance to get Crow back, whom I love. There's two ways you could do this- either have Crow still be the one controlling her, so give him a little passive role in gameplay, maybe hang around like Delilah or Pokemon Trainer in Smash Bros- Ooooor, you could have Copy Justice have like, be a feral wandering robot so to speak, seperated from her creator and just looking for a purpose. I think thatd be cool...

I don't know about how powerful each character in Guilty Gear already is, but if I were to be given a chance to buy the game, then practice with and learn about each character, then I could make a better judgement, but for right now, my verdict rests on Skill Issue.
One of the best ideas I've heard for a Justice storyline was that someone tries to create a 1:1 copy of Justice, who only remembers bits and pieces of the original's memory. One day, she wakes up and goes on a rampage, breaking out of the facility she was made in. Copy-Justice wanders the world, being berated, feared, and scorned by the world around her. Eventually (Perhaps after some helpful advice from Slayer or Testament), Copy-Justice has to face herself with the question of, "Is she a unique existence all on her own, or does she merely exist to live in the original Justice's shadow, forever being judged and hated for actions she didn't commit?" Personally, I'd love to see smth like this, but then again, having Justice in Strive *period* would be a massive W for me lol
There are top five mod characters who will one day be inside the PC (except for Goku and Android 16). For example, Ryn did make the Order-Sol mod a while ago, and this man made a 3D Justice model for the guy who wants it for commission on Discord. Also, yes, these two can be easily re-made since Order has similar techniques like his current counterpart, Sol Badguy. The same goes for Justice since she is closer to Dizzy's animations, with similarities with her moves as well. I want to say the GGX Robo-Ky (not the Reload one) can be made as well since we have Ky's slouching animation when Faust does "that" overdrive. Plus, these two have the same techniques. Wish we need more love to the GG moding community, but oh well.
Since both Venom and Robo-Ky are in kinda weird situations to get into the game rn, I really wish they could come in together as a duo character. Venom the baker and Robo Ky's head as a duo characters would be amazing I think and very unique. (Also I want Robotic Kyle to go through a journey of self-discovery, have Venom get over his crush on Zato, and have them end up together as a gay couple. One of the dudes crucial to victory in the story, passed over for a one line cameo. I was begging for jam to just fucking DO SOMETHING in the climax. But NOPE! I don't think that if he ever reappears Crow will be the same character as in the XX Story games, those aren't canon as a whole.
If you check his entry on GGWorld it says " His full name is Crow Kuruwaba. Some have theorized he's from Japanese origin,but that's never confirmed "
And that's with AC+ having two separate characters meeting Crow and saying "Hey you're Crow Kuruwaba and you're Japanese" so that's the level of care for the XX stories
Also Leopaldon is canon because it's from a game Daisuke worked in, unlike Raymond and Gig from Judgment and Dust Strikers, the Isuka trio has an entry in GGWorld but not the other two.
@@senatorwilsonphillips8724 It's possible, given that we got Venom and Slayer meeting for the first time in Xrd when we got that they met before more than once (Night of Knives and XX games). I think if the XX games aren't canon, we wouldn't have when Faust and Zappa met for the first time or why Eddie is suddenly friendly with Zato given that the XX games have his development.
About the Isuka trio (besides of ABA and Leopaldon), you mean Paracelsus?
@@GenesisPhantom Because what remained canon is the character bios for the characters introduced in XX (Bridget,Zappa, A.B.A and technically Eddie),with Slayer and I-No keeping their primary roles from their respective CD Drama, and you can tell with the first group their stories don't really fit with their Xrd onwards.
Honestly,I don't really like how Eddie doesn't really feel like his own character after his story in the XX games is that he's more than Zato's shadow,he should speak in conversations like that one scene in Arcade Mode for Sign.
And about the Isuka trio I meant the three characters that create Leopaldon ( the Gear, the wizard pumping energy to make it move and the dog that controls it)
I was thinking maybe the justice could be a fight in the characters nightmares it could make for some cool settings without messing with the lore, and I have also thought about a really grizzled Order sol from the dark timeline missing an eye or an arm or something who magically hopped timelines or something like that would be so cool right?
Imagine if venom came back and his new design is just him in the chef outfit, also maybe justice could return as just the robot going off of code because aria isn’t in it anymore

I think Ariels deserves a spot. She was the main villain of Xrd yet never got a chance on the playable roster, and I think that’s a shame.

My Girl! JUSTICE! She's so cool,and I think that it makes a lot of sense narratively to have her come back as well, since so much of strive is about reconciling with the past and moving forward, having the original boss of the game come back (and ideally getting more story time to herself as well) makes a lot of sense to me. And at worst they can just pull a +R and have her appearance in game be noncanon

...I guess there's little I can do here but gives my thoughts on all your picks
10. Chronus has been a big fave of mine, I love the potential of his and Faust's relationship, so I have lowkey been wishing for him, but never hopeful. However! In the recent French Q&A at Japan Expo, Daisuke brought up Chronus in relation to Faust, mentioning how they'd travel together for a long time and how that'd affect Chronus, so clearly the character is on his mind! Maybe he has a chance!
In Vastedge his fellow Conclave member Baldias had a sorta Zato inspired moveset, seemingly also using the Forbidden Spell Life-Eating Shadow, but not sure if that'd make sense for Chronus, plus we literally have Zato already. But it'd be kinda cool to potentially introduce another Forbidden Spell for him to use, considering we only know two.
As an aside, Faust in Strive actually isnt really any more depressed than before- Faust's story bits have always shown that he really was just depressed like that from the start, he'd just always hide it behind a goofy facade- Technically Faust is better now, in a sense :^Ic
As for Ariels, yeah she'd really need to have been playable in Xrd, her main narrative purpose is kinda over now. Even if she were to become playable now, I feel whatever style they'd go for would feel better if we could see constrast to what she'd have played like in Xrd.
That said, Daisuke also talked about her in the French Q&A when asked- mentioning without Happy Chaos she's returning to her original programming more, while also having gained the ability to feel affection for her daughters. So potential more use of her in future narrative?
9. I know people say Leopaldon as a joke, but I think they could legit pull off some cool stuff with her in Strive (the dog is a girl according to Daisuke- of course that doesnt account for the sorcerer and the Gear but yeah)
I think just making the trio work somehow would be a great sight to behold, so just for that I'd want that. If they can pull it off.
8. Paradigm is a character where I could easily see them just considering him a support-only character, and yeah any gameplay he might get could overlap with Asuka, but I trust the team to find a way to make him work on his own.
I think he'd be a cool addition to the roster as we're seriously lackin in non-humanoid characters like him, and he is a regular of the cast by now.
7. No notes on Gabriel really, I think you said most of what I'd say. I mean they have been teasing this guy since almost the first game (considering Johnny immediately became playable after too) And Xrd's portrayal really feels like they were either seriously considering him or just taking the piss on us.
6. For Venom, for the longest time I felt he shouldnt come back as to not pull him out of his nice narrative closure, but- I think Elphelt in Strive showed how well they could work with a character who is technically just a civilian going after their passion, not an active fighter on the scene.
I'd kinda love for them to rework Venom to be baker-based, I wanna see how they'd do it. But if he's regular thats cool too.
5. I'm not overly familiar with the gameplay, but I hear Answer actually plays similar to BlazBlue's Bang Shishigami, so maybe that's something to consider for inspo?
In any case I NEED him to be in Strive, cause his absence felt unreal in the story (I thiiiink he mentioned going on vacation in Xrd at some point, so maybe thats where he is)
And I really need people to experience his in-battle voice lines in English just to get the full appreciation of his gimmick, its so great.
4. FANNY! My greastest hope and dream!
I honestly just think she's really fun, and she'd be a great way to give the gameplay aspects that Faust has lost a comeback, more leaning towards how Baldhead was ofc.
Aesthetic-wise I feel she might overlap a bit with Elphelt and A.B.A, being a sleepy, anemic girl who's defined by her obsessive passion- but to be fair she did all of this first!
I've recently went and translated all the Petit 1&2 story modes, and Fanny really does feel like a character they put a lot of heart in for that little game (I mean its still super simplistic, but in the context of what those games are like in general) and seeing her appear in a """real""" game would be so nice.
Obviously I'd love to see more interactions with her and Faust as well- there were some interesting ideas being brought up with them. Like in Faust's Petit 2 story, Fanny points out that Faust is overworking himself and ignoring his own health, which is something Faust has had to confront since. And in Fanny's story, Faust is clearly distressed about being confronted with his past like this, and encourages her to just forget about Baldhead.
That's all stuff we could built up on with Faust's new perspective on himself, plus I like Fanny's interactions with the other cast, too.
3. Yeah Izuna has been kinda banished from the narrative cause his teleport ability was too OP for the story, but I feel they could easily just bring him back and say he lost that power now.
I dont even specifically want him to be playable (tho thatd be sick) I just want to know if he's still alive, like he's good friends with Paradigm and buddies with the cast, shouldnt we care that he's gone??
2. Zappa is pretty interesting, cause we already got to see his post 2-Xrd 6 year time skip life, unlike say A.B.A or Testament, who weren't seen in the current era until Strive.
We know he's seemingly got better control over the ghosts posessing him now (or rather, he doesnt pass out from them all the time now), after understanding more of the science behind the phenomenon, but Daisuke has confirmed that he IS still possessed.
It'd be interesting how this might affect his portrayal in gameplay, and it could def be used as a justification for nerfing him a bit to not be too strong.
1. Justice!!!!! Honestly that music is the only argument you needed, just hearing it turned my brain off and left only the desire to see her prosper. This must be what being a Gear is like.
More seriously, I doooon't think I'd be happy with some story shenanigans bringing back the "real" Justice in some form, cause we JUST closed a major chapter of that whole story. The part of Aria that was Justice IS still within Jack-O and there was some interesting stuff there I'd maybe want the narrative to reflect on, but probably not like this.
Never say never though, they might be able to make it work for me.
However! I think a great non-invasive way to bring her gameplay back would be to maybe Crow's Copy Justice playable again! The one from Accent Core? I think that could be fun, plus a chance to get Crow back, whom I love.
There's two ways you could do this- either have Crow still be the one controlling her, so give him a little passive role in gameplay, maybe hang around like Delilah or Pokemon Trainer in Smash Bros-
Ooooor, you could have Copy Justice have like, be a feral wandering robot so to speak, seperated from her creator and just looking for a purpose.

I don't know about how powerful each character in Guilty Gear already is, but if I were to be given a chance to buy the game, then practice with and learn about each character, then I could make a better judgement, but for right now, my verdict rests on Skill Issue.

One of the best ideas I've heard for a Justice storyline was that someone tries to create a 1:1 copy of Justice, who only remembers bits and pieces of the original's memory.
One day, she wakes up and goes on a rampage, breaking out of the facility she was made in.
Copy-Justice wanders the world, being berated, feared, and scorned by the world around her. Eventually (Perhaps after some helpful advice from Slayer or Testament), Copy-Justice has to face herself with the question of, "Is she a unique existence all on her own, or does she merely exist to live in the original Justice's shadow, forever being judged and hated for actions she didn't commit?"
Personally, I'd love to see smth like this, but then again, having Justice in Strive *period* would be a massive W for me lol

The fact that Justice winning against humanity in an alternate timeline is technically something that has happened in this series is funny to me.
You need to do more fighting games videos like this one.
There are top five mod characters who will one day be inside the PC (except for Goku and Android 16).
For example, Ryn did make the Order-Sol mod a while ago, and this man made a 3D Justice model for the guy who wants it for commission on Discord.
Also, yes, these two can be easily re-made since Order has similar techniques like his current counterpart, Sol Badguy.
The same goes for Justice since she is closer to Dizzy's animations, with similarities with her moves as well.
I want to say the GGX Robo-Ky (not the Reload one) can be made as well since we have Ky's slouching animation when Faust does "that" overdrive.
Plus, these two have the same techniques.
Wish we need more love to the GG moding community, but oh well.

Since both Venom and Robo-Ky are in kinda weird situations to get into the game rn, I really wish they could come in together as a duo character. Venom the baker and Robo Ky's head as a duo characters would be amazing I think and very unique.
(Also I want Robotic Kyle to go through a journey of self-discovery, have Venom get over his crush on Zato, and have them end up together as a gay couple. That'd be so epic)
