Hello. William sent me. So here i am. Just subbed and will be watching the back videos. At the end off the day i strop that days edc. So wether i carry a Sak or a RR or a BM Bugout it makes no difference as it is ready for the next day. .All the best.
On blade steel, as you said, most people will not need anything beyond 440a to get through the days cutting tasks required for a pocket knife. I like Rough Ryder's because they allowed me to experience a lot of traditional knife patterns without costing me a ton of money.
Definitely agree with you pal. The point I was trying (badly) to make wS that if you only had one knife then getting through a day is going to get annoying real fast.
Oh I don't know. I'm pleased with both the lower priced and the higher priced. Wait. "Big R" I guess you're right! You can't please everybody. A lot of folks say T10 and 1095 are comparable. I prefer 1095. That said, I'm far from a steel snob. I carry a SAK and Spyderco (VG10) daily. I don't find myself sharpening the SAK that much more that the Spyderco. 440C is a much better steel than 440A, at least when it comes to hardness and edge retention, if tempered correctly.
I refuse to buy Aliexpress. I think their name explains it all. I can't help but think that buying from aliexpress is the same as buying a Rolex watch from a car trunk in a back alley in New York.
I don't tend to buy clones bit there is some great value stuff on old ali. I like budget but I also like nice things so caught between a rock and a hard place. Thanks for you input.
@@KnifeChatswithTobias must admit I don't have the spare money I did when I started the channel. My new knife purchases are certainly dwindling but I have plenty in the rotation so can't complain.
I'm a new sub, William's Knife Life sent me over. Great video! Cheers from the U.S.A.!

@@feeltheburr521 These days I caught between filling up the tank or eating! So I come up with all sorts of reasons not to buy a knife!

One can find great deals in a back alley in NY, heck I've bought at least 6 Rolexes in the past there and never spent for than 30-40 bucks...!
