On 5 December 1941, the counteroffensive for "removing the immediate threat to Moscow" started on the Kalinin Front. The South-Western Front and Western Fronts began their offensives the next day. After several days of little progress, Soviet armies retook Solnechnogorsk on 12 December and Klin on 15 December.

In the real battle, many German vehicles, crew-served weapons and even hand-carried weapons were inoperable or semi-operable due to sub-zero weather. This allowed Soviet forces who lacked the traditional numerical advantage to still advance. Visibility was also lower due to same weather - the Soviets attacked in blizzard conditions.

Hell of a battle. Have you tried only playing one soldier or one tank during these major battles? Must be pretty immersive.

This game has a lot of cool aspects, and you're a talented map designer. It's a shame the AI is so stupid. Check out 11:45, where a German soldier leaves the cover of his trench. He runs and stands in front of the anti tank gun! At 11:50 he nearly has his schnitzel blown off!
I watch all your videos ~ I love them~ I need your help -I can find a way to make realistic fox holes or trenches ~ when I drop them down there is no depth and the look horrible ~ also when mortars land there is no hole and those look fake How do I fix this ?

Not at the moment.
Interesting lots of German assets never fired a round and that little PAC howitzer was doing almost nothing but denting armor at best. Now the 75 inside the building is a completely different story that was truly the widest used most versatile gun of the war being used for everything from artillery to FLACK against everything and it was the main gun on the Tiger tanks the only high velocity anti-armor gun of the war!

Infantry should be flanking your russian tanks not behind them. Flank on both sides more effective strategy.
Sturmfuher can you do a battle of Berlin battle with Germans in buildings and houses and foxholes defending Berlin well what’s left of Berlin and have a king tiger arrive as reinforcements
