Same because the SKOL (South Kansas and Oklahoma railroad) runs through my town and has old triclops and old Burlington Northern SD40-2s pulling locals and having 150 car long trains
The locomotive in the thumbnail is one of a series that were painted in a series of liveries in honour of Canadian military. The specific engine livery is in the style of the planes used in the D-Day invasion in Normandy France. I truly hope I’m lucky enough to catch those absolutely stunning locomotives in the wild.

I live off the CP tracks just outside oakbank they where changing the ties and ripping up all the crossings, had about 5-6 miles of closed crossings cuz they ripped them up (very time consuming to have to go back 3 miles just to cross) but that specific one runs between (I found) Hazelridge and oakbank. Hope that helps

Great video, I love that shot you got of the train going through the field of yellow flowers. Also the horn on that GP38 is amazing. ❤️👍😎
any idea what type of horn it is?
@@yourfellowpancake6335 I’m honestly not sure. I’m not really a horn expert. lol 😂

Those local jobs make me a little too nostalgic for when there were locals in my hometown. All the tracks are gone now…
