I think you're my long lost twin. Lol. I also spent my first 8 years in the 80's. Nocenti's Daredevil run were some of the first comics I ever read as a kid, so I remember finding Someplace Strange based off of that. I always felt that Neverending story vibe from it as well. Also being obsessed with O'barr and anything Crow related was a no brainer for me. I have most of the Caliber presents issues for IO I do believe. Gonna have to do some digging. I'm definitely gonna check out Fashion in Action. This video really makes me think of my early days into comics and music. We need to collab on a comics/music video sometime. All in all, another amazing video brother! Can't wait for the next! Cheers!
The 80s really was the time where Indie books boomed. But if I do have to choose the best from the 80s, it'd definitely be Marvel's ROM Spaceknight. 75 issues + 4 annuals of space opera and action that spaned almost the entire marvel universe.
"Shatter" is now on my list! Also, I usually snag any EPIC title i can find when I'm dollar bin diving. Their Heavy Hitters series with "LAWDOG" comes to mind, I only got 1 & 2 of this title. Anyone know how many titles were in that run?
I do not know, this is my first time hearing of Lawdogs but I'll keep my eye out for it & give it a look! Shatter is so good man such a fun comic! I'm very happy you get so much out of my vids rock on man!
@@GraphicVandalism731 I have picked up one book from every one of your vids! You really pull out some indie gems that are right in my wheel house! Thanks
