Same could have imply to Bonnie but his story is a little more different. But when the Fredbear Springlock suit retired, the name Freddy Fazbear was probably given to normal Freddy and Fredbears name was changed to something like Yellow bear, Yellow Freddy, or SpringFreddy, or something like that because it doesn’t has the legal name Fredbear/Freddy Fazbear anymore. Meaning since Fredbear is a nickname for Freddy Fazbear, you could technically say that you are playing, “Five Nights at Fredbears.”
Technically, the first animatronic, Fredbear was named that before Fazbear Entertainment came up with Freddy Fazbear, so it wouldn’t be a nickname. It was a more simple name before people decided to change things.
