During their amateur days, they were active as the prog band "SCHEHERAZADE" led by Hirayama (Gr), but before their debut, they merged with "SanSuiKan" in the same area. This merger gave rise to the unique NEW sounds mixed musicality of the Prog + Heavy Rock as the sound of NOVELA. It is hard to admit that there was no common ponit between NOvela and LOUDNESS. Yoshiro Takahashi restarted ACTION, not LOUDNESS. But i LOVE NOVELA ! ! ! They are not sucks ! ! !

中3で14歳でした。
中1から通っていた楽器店の店長にチケットを貰ってチャリをコイで行きました。
クラシックの様な前奏とメンバーの衣装で何やこのバンド？しかも女子ばっかり…
しかし、Voが登場して、ギターリフにノックアウト☆
家に帰るまで、リフを忘れないようにチャリをコギながら脳内再生を繰り返し、家に着くと直ぐにギターを手に取りコピーしました。

目黒鹿鳴館見に行った！！残念なのはライブの原音ではないんですね。でもカッコいいモックの黒のストラトに白のピックアップ、ヨシロウ、テルのMC、いい思い出だな、渋谷で白の三段ロンドンブーツ買いに行った、公園通りのパルコの前あたり、

ノヴェラは大好きですけど、後のビジュアル系には何等、影響は与えていないですよ。だって、ビジュアル系と言う名称は９０年代以降に言われるようになりました。エックスやカラー、デランジェ、バクチクなどが後のビジュアル系に多大な影響を与えたんです。ウソはいけませんよ。
V系の遠い祖先という見方は出来るけれども、当時の音楽シーンではある意味孤高の存在だったという事ですね
