I know the furniture would be very expensive based on Etsy prices. BUT I wouldn’t mind just the backgrounds. Less cartoon backgrounds and more elegant.

Watching this video gave me an idea! How about doing a Japanese inspired paper screen wall? It would be an interesting way to play with the light. My mom made a few faux stained glass windows to fit our big living room windows for Halloween. We did a funeral scene on the porch for the kids and it was beautiful. During the day, the sun light made our wrong side view look backwards but nice. And, at night the porch looked like the inside of an old church. The inside lamps lit up the "stained glass" for a cool effect. Mom drew the design on black poster board with a pencil. Then she added where she wanted the colored glass to be, making sure she had about 1/4" - 3/8" border for the "leading." She cut out the window pieces from the poster board. Then cut pieces of colored tissue paper and she taped them in place on the poster board. The piece only held up for a couple years dew to where and the way it was stored. The scene was a neighborhood favorite. I wish I had a photo to share.
Anyway, I thought I'd share this idea to maybe spark some ideas for windows and light play. I know you could create something amazing and gorgeous for your dolls.

Awesome video. A little tip for you. Next time you make the paper bead vases mix a tiny bit of baking soda into the acrylic paint and it will cover all the lines and make it look like one cohesive piece. I love your room videos.

Brilliant as always!I learnt recently that the saying is, you can't eat your cake and have it too. It's been changed over the years because it didn't sound right that way, however, I definitely understand it better the original way 😂

Decorative cskes require a fair amount of refrigeration to keep them from going sloppy and falling apart.
"Fancy cakes" used to be icing on "forms" which were more solid and easier to move. Most were made "on site" back in the day because of lack of refrigeration. These cakes were just for looking pretty and were not eatten. You would actually be eatting a separate not so fancy cake because once the cake is cut no one cares what it looks like anymore 🥰
Interesting. I always thought the original phrase was "You can't eat your cake and have it too." And that over time it got reversed
I think it means that once you eat the cake, it's gone and you dont "Have" (possess) it anymore.. So having a cake and eating it too means you want best of the both (impossible) worlds
Maybe if you made a taller plant it would hide the seam. I thought you were making an indoor palm tree I was surprise to see how tiny it turned out. I also love watching you create. It's amazing what a little Modge Podge can do.

You could paint the foam board along the seam with a color that matches the paper, and then attach the paper like you did. That way you don't have a white line and you still don't get bunching/wrinkling of the paper.
