I can hear it clearly definitely a good difference in sound. Another person did a review on the same speaker that I was just looking at, and he went with the coaxial cables, and I wonder if they had a different effect as opposed to doing the digital optical which is what I’m gonna do which is also what you did. Again sounds awesome. I’m psyched for my purchase. This helped :)
I do not have an aux in option in my soundbar, nor RCA... Will this work fine by just plugging into the optical in of subwoffer, from the optical out of the soundbar?
i purchased this woofer and really like it but it didn't come with a remote. is there a phone app that can control it? or do i need to get a universal remote? what do you recommend?
The answer is yes, you can connect audio in rca and have audio out rca to your sound system, but it cannot power those speakers, you must have an active setup

I have this sub and it's not bad for small systems. I use it with my pc. I added polyfill in it and it's much tighter. Keep the volume on it very low and it won't distort cause it can. I ordered the downfiring one which I believe is better. I may put a Dayton driver in if don't like them.

Use the aux cable provided with the soundbar or subwoofer.

There is no way to volume control it independtly. You can only control the volume source you feed to it or the volume control on it.

It doesn't automatically turn on/off cuz it doesn't have HDMI (arc) but I believe their new ones have HDMI (arc) connection

Oh nice, tons of mods. And yes it's better to keep it turned down to help with distortion

If your soundbar has SUB out, you should be able to do it no problem
