Why do you all keep advertising the packaging?? Fourth video of this laptop now and everyone mentioned it. I don't care about the box. I care about the laptop.
Welp, I know what our next laptop purchase won't be. Lenovo needs to stop trying to be Apple and go back to being Lenovo. If consumers wanted a terrible oversized touchpad with no buttons, non-replaceable keyboard with no key travel, and only 2 USB-C ports, they would buy a 2019 MacBook and put Windows on it. This is a shame.
I really like the leather body as I get really distracted by fingerprint smudges. Also, that bronze one looks effin good. I know this may come off as impractical but for me at least, looks of the laptop really matter, especially when I have to stare at it for most of my waking hours. 🤣 I hope this becomes available in the Philippines 🙏
This is not for the average ThinkPad user. Lenovo is trying to get the new generation, who is perhaps just now starting to get into a business setting, to get away from MacBooks and into the ThinkPad series. And I have to say, as someone who basically fits this description perfectly, it does look very tempting. I just hope they will keep this design philosophy to the Z-Series exclusively and keep the other lines the same.
@@elijahcs3633 I’d say they’ve done their market research well, as a gen z who is getting into a proper career in a business environment I have to admit it is a very nice looking device, and all of my friends agree, and I hope it does well when tested by the big tech reviewers
@@verygoodbrother what more function do you need? It has a screen, keyboard, trackpad, wifi 6, usb 4.. what magical requirement am I missing for a business environment?
@@fraznofire2508 usb-a for mouse and usb headset. you know, like the one almost every business will issue. Ethernet port to connect to the network as wifi gets congested. Honestly if have to explain this to you then i highly doubt you work in a business environment

is the touchpad not centered, slightly to the left? the removal of ports is a miss to me
Impressive but a thinkpad without a full size usb port is a crime.it's a fail
True, but you know, "thin and light" :)
"were we're going... we don't need usb ports." facebook shitposting. we're going to do light facebook shitposting on it.
As someone who owns a X1 nano, I went in fully understanding what I was getting myself into by not getting a Carbon
And trackpad without buttons
USB C > USB A
No, no, no. With this arrangement of keys this is NOT a Thinkpad. Please don't ruin the legendary Thinkpad we all love
Make the whole palm rest a glass trackpad.
Hey! Lenovo! With this arrow keys - it is NOT ThinkPad! ( Im very angry!!!
P.S. It will be a disastrous and terrible product.
The track point isn’t centered and it’s bothering me , I’m pretty sure all the Thinkpad devices I’ve owned it was centered
16 inch looks better
oh man, the number of verbal hick-ups and the presenter made. Should've done another take
I wonder if we are going to repeat the history of the infamous X240 integrated trackpad or it is truly a new one…

And thank god, I still have my ThinkPad W520! Ain't broke, don't fix.

I hate the future 😒
Low travel keys = no buy.
The Thinkpad user may not like this Z series.

The new web cam is not worth mentioning, Lenovo?
Apple add more ports vs others remove, looks like they have not learned from others mistake...
Covid = better webcam on laptops 👨💻
🌎🇪🇨🙂👍
Into a new world?
The only thing I liked about these is that they don't have a notch 🤣
I would rather have the Apple notch then this bulging camera heap on top of the Thinkpad lid. That looks terrible.
@@BlendingWithHenry to each their own
But this one have reverse notch ?
That red dot 🔴 on the keyboard is very annoying.
