I like this tune a lot. I recommend the more laid back version as performed on the CBS Morning Show. If you listen to the lyrics - this is a song about how heartbreak can infect a town. This is Brandon Flowers looking back on his childhood and how a tragic event changed his town thereafter. It's quite touching. The chorus, in that light, hits the heart hard. I really felt this one myself...

This reminded me a bit of John Mellencamp or Bruce Springsteen type of song. It's okay, could listen to it while driving, or in the background while cleaning.

Exactly my thoughts. I actually have listened to the album 6 times now, and just as I was doing things around the house, getting ready in morning. It's nothing extraordinary though.

I'm going to have to step away from recommendations for at least 2 months. I'm so dreadfully behind and I need to catch up on stuff that I would normally listen to that's been out for months, case in point, this Killer's album.
      Hit me up on February!

Good song but not as much as Caution or My own soul's warning

They're kinda different. I view those two singles off of Itmploding The Mirage as fast tempo songs. This one is more brooding, moody; like a National song. Thanks for watching though!
