Answering your five areas for improvement: LCB: Branthwaite. He's not a Maldini with the ball but surely ain't a slouch either, tall, strong physically would be an upgrade to Martinez. LCM: Ederson. From what I see weekly he would meet all the criterias you mentioned including the ability to be the team commander on the pitch. Wouldn't be my January pick, I would get a rotational player first who can play in different positions like Jacob Ramsey or Samuele Ricci, but definelty would be my first signing in the summer. LWB: Nuno Mendes or Kerkez. Mendes would be a no-brainer, in my opinion he's in the top 3 currenlty therefore needless to articulate further. Kerkez I see him being wordclass in 2 years max, but ready to deliver immedialty. You still have Patrick Dorgu who's a mixture of both and could arrive in Jan on good loan deal. AM/IF: This is probably the hardest position to preview, first, because I believe Mount will be pivotal for Amorim next season and the starting option (Don't be surprised if Bruno leaves in the summer), second, this is the most important position on Amorim system as this player needs to be super versatile in both providing balance defensively and playmaking in the attack. Dani Olmo would be excelent if we didnt already have Mount and money wasn't an issue, therefore I see Amorim and the big bosses going for a future prospect instead and names like Sudakov(Shaktar) or Oscar Gloukh(Red Bull Salzburg) would be very intersting. Anyway, these are my picks perhaps not the most fancy names but are players I see being upgrades. Would be interesting to see a video on suggestions or people adding other names to the list. I agree these would be the critical key positions to improve in 2025 and I would include an experienced striker also. On a long term prespective I'd say GK (Carnesecchi or Kelleher), CB (Diomande), RWB and RAM/RIF.
I believe Garnacho could definitely play the LM/LWB role pretty well. We've only seen him play there once in which he got subbed on. The only issue I'd have with him there is his ball retention and defensive abilities, but he definitely has the weak foot in order to deliver decent crosses on most occasions. Currently, the stat says that ever since Amorim has decided to play two fullbacks in the wide positions, no goals has been scored so instead of dropping amad deeper why not play Garna since Dalot needs break since his starting to have the same overplaying problem like Bruno tends to do
If you believe garnacho can you must believe in his backtracking or his attacking iq. Those two are superb and have been major for United. Especially now we’re playing this new system.
The team we would like to see for the forseeable future is: Even against Liverpool Onana, Kukonki, DeLigt, Yoro, Mazraoui, Ugarte, Martinez(capt), Malacia/Antony, Mainoo, Hojlund, Amad. Subs: Bayindir, Dalot, Maguire, Evans, Lindelof, Malacia, Bruno, Eriksen, Collyer, Gernacho, Antony, Zirkzee & Rashford! Keep it in the family!
Thanks for your videos, man. I have learned substantially. I've tried multiple times to learn "how to watch football" even with the athletic, but I think they always miss the basics and assume we all have level 1 coaching or something. I wish your videos were longer. Thank you.
We espect Amorim to recruit at least 3 players in January, that should be Gyokeres, Inàcio & Hjulmand or Quenda. Martinez should be moved in midfield alongside Ugarte as Casemiro replacement! We would keep Rashford & Zirkzee to at least till the end of the season to see if they will improve. To Get Rid: Onana, Dalot, Maguire, Lindelof, Eriksen, Bruno, Malacia, Mount, & Antony in next window! Bring back Alvara Fernandez, Kambwala, Garner, Pereira & Gomes! Gernacho's replacements should be Doue & Nune Mendes! Keep it in the family!
I think in midfield we should be looking at Palacios/Ederson and Nico Gonzalez at Porto 6’2 technical versatile monster with an Engine. At lcb Hancko or Lukeba who’s younger would be great.
My choice for the two no 10 roles would be Omar marmoush and matheus cunha both will massively improve united but would cost around 50-60 million each.
The absolute musts in January are LWB and someone to play alongside Ugarte. As the season goes on we’re going to see more of the right runs being made especially as Amorim would have had more time on the training pitch. If the right players play in 10s we will score goals. Additionally, we’ve got enough in CBs to get us through until the summer, again though, ONLY IF THE RIGHT PLAYERS PLAY. LWB Nuno Mendes seems possible and we need a presence in midfield like Baleba from Brighton.
I agree with the lwb but i would say more so an AM on the right. Other than mount no one else can play in the AM role but midfielder is defo a must need too. Hopefully we get to sign players tho
@ I get that. I think Conrad Harder is a good shout. Very young, can play with back to goal, runs like mad, played for Amorim before and would be playing alongside countryman Hojlund.

We really need someone who can play well under pressure, someone who can step up when the team is struggling and that player can also motivate those young players. We definitely don't have this kind of player right now.
I would really like to see Antony at the LWB I do believe he has what is needed to play there but I guess the mentality or trust isnt there if Amorim hasnt tried it yet.
In January Dani Olmo on a free should be a must we need to get it done to be in inside forward. At LWB Nuno Mendes and work something out with Rashford or Garnacho going the other way (both of them are rumored to be on the out unfortunately). Lastly Casemiro must go in order to get funds for a DM like Hujmlund
Do we have anyone who can put a cross in the box? Our wingers prefer to cut inside and shoot or only pass near the goal line. It seems rare for them to put a cross in the box quickly.
We should look at young players who's contracts are all expiring: Jonathan David(ST/IF) Juan Gimenez (CCB/DM) Nicola Zalewski (LWB/RWB/IF) Yarek Gasiorowski (LCB/LB) Devyne Rensch(RCB/CCB/RWB) All are under 24 years of age
Overall the physical levels (especially aerially) of this team needs to be raised especially our attackers need to be a lot stronger (in the air). Generally since sir Alex and particularly since mourinho our attackers have had zero aerial threat be it in the opponent box or during goal kicks. Every time the likes of bruno, rashford, martial contested aerial duels they would literally close their eyes and hoped the ball landed on their head. This needs to be addressed
Angel Gomes as the controlling midfielder for free and Martinez as the other CDM….LCB Fernandez activate his buy back…Nuno Mendez for LWB and most importantly Nypan who should be the Priority as the dribbling playmaker and Gyokeres as our CF.
The number one change United need to make is bringing in players with the right mentality. We have 4-5 players completely ball watching at all times. Passengers.
I wonder if Zirkzee could be used as a deeper lying passing midfielder? He has the size to do well in physical challenges, and he has a good range of passing. His confidence is rock bottom at the moment, and that's a problem, but if he can get his confidence back, I can see him being a reasonable, if not first choice, partner for Ugarte or Mainoo.
Why is no one talking about Stieller of Stuttgart as that 8 who's physical and also technical on the ball. Ederson of Atalanta is also that. But Stieller mann!!
Kobel in to compete with Onana, Nuno Mendes or Gutierrez, Kerkez, Ait Nouri at the left wing back, Wirtz or Kudus, Kvaratskhelia, Baena and Cunha at inside forward positions, Guimaraes, Barella, Palacios, Zubimendi in central midfield positions
So hear me out and try not to laugh too hard. How about pushing Licha into midfield with Ugarte? Use Yoro on the left (not bad when he did it at the weekend towards the end), DeLigt / Maguire in the middle and Mazroui on the right. Defence has more height and athleticism straight away with no signings. Licha is a good tackler and passer as you said already so will give us more physicality in the middle of the park. Can then push Mainoo further forward as an inside forward who can be that ball retention player (like he was in the academy). Use the buy back clause for Fernandes at £15m for that better left wing back and the team is far more balanced for minimal outlay.
My dream signings either this January or come summer LCB inacio RWB frimpong just 40 million euros release clause (surely we can't snooze around), man's just tailor made for that position LWB Nuno Mendes ( just like Ugarte has shown, he knows Amorim sysyem inside out) CM Stieller of Stuttgart or Ederson of Atalanta Inside 10's Cunha & Zhegrova Striker Straightforward, GYOKERES!!!

Is his system necessarily the solution to winning? No. Just look at the matches since his arrival. It’s no better than Ten Hag. A playing system is not an end in itself, and this coach seems determined to stick to his ideas, which could be dangerous for the club’s results. He should focus instead on getting results, no matter how-even if it means going against his own ideas, unfortunately, at least for now. The players seem completely lost in his system in every aspect. The Liverpool example this weekend will clearly illustrate that: 4-3-3 vs. 3-4-2-1.
He shouldn’t just focus on results he’d be in the same boat as all our previous managers dropping what they want to do just to grind out results and not improving the club hired him for what he’s done and he has to stick with it he can’t just change it because our players don’t suit it we have to sign the right personnel for it to work
players act up, manager, coach are incompetent, owners don't care, the stadium is damaged, the club is on the brink of relegation. it's complete. whoever it is, be it owner, management, manager, coach, player, it is better to focus on the condition and position of the club NOW to stay away from the brink of relegation. new system, new idea, new challenge all rubbish if the result is BIG ZERO. ALL "NEW" FOR MANUTD IS A BULLSHIT SENSATION
if we stick with onana we can have the 10 best players in the world and it will mean nothing. a mediocre keeper will bleed goals. defenders are useless infront of a bad keeper. WE MUST: 1. STOP GOALs --first new keeper --next wingback 2. Sort out mid field 3. get a goal scorer In that order KEEPER KEEPER KEEPER if we only sign 1 player in january it MUST be a keeper!!! You cannot win without a good keeper!!!!!!
Neither goal against Newcastle was on him, but ok. Absolutely zero chance we sign a keeper in January, and if we sign one in the summer, it won't be to move Onana to the bench.
To start the main area that has to be improved is the coach. After that it is going to be easier to improve the rest of the team. Amorim is just full of himself.

He shouldn’t just focus on results he’d be in the same boat as all our previous managers dropping what they want to do just to grind out results and not improving the club hired him for what he’s done and he has to stick with it he can’t just change it because our players don’t suit it we have to sign the right personnel for it to work
Our recruitment team needs to be sacked
They have been terrible for the last 10 years
players act up, manager, coach are incompetent, owners don't care, the stadium is damaged, the club is on the brink of relegation. it's complete.
whoever it is, be it owner, management, manager, coach, player, it is better to focus on the condition and position of the club NOW to stay away from the brink of relegation.
new system, new idea, new challenge all rubbish if the result is BIG ZERO. ALL "NEW" FOR MANUTD IS A BULLSHIT SENSATION
if we stick with onana we can have the 10 best players in the world and it will mean nothing. a mediocre keeper will bleed goals. defenders are useless infront of a bad keeper.
WE MUST:
1. STOP GOALs
--first new keeper
--next wingback
2. Sort out mid field
3. get a goal scorer
In that order KEEPER KEEPER KEEPER if we only sign 1 player in january it MUST be a keeper!!!
This team will never be good…when i see millionaires misplacing 5 yard passes…thats not smth you coach
