I miss the original darkzone from The Division. I had the priviledge to be invited to America to work on it with the team at Red Storm as part of ETF Bravo. We worked on DZ north. Fun times. The division 2 dark zone was such a huge let down for me, that I just stopped playing it altogether. Such a shame.
If they had put half of the time developing The Division 2 into refining The Division 1 it would've been a game that could still have a consistently active playerbase even today.
It sucks because The Division 1 PvP is genuinely unique, nothing will ever come close to being so chaotic yet organised and enjoyable at the same time.
I think all PVP/DZ people agree, but if we actually go back to 1.8.3 or even earlier patches, I would say most of us wanted a Division 2, so a lot of the broken stuff could get fixed. The engine overall needed fixes, I think division 2 was the right move HOWEVER they went 180 on the PVP/DZ to try to appeal a bigger crowd but they failed miserable at it. All we can hope is that The Division 3 happens and they take what they learned and go back to Div 1 style of darkzone and pvp
But the healing spam was horrible! Other than that, the pvp was good.

I just hope division heartlands PvP is more like div1. Once I found out the div2’s DZ was going to be split up into thirds and not a whole entire map I knew it was gonna be shit. I just hope heartland delivers and revives the franchise.

Nothing special build wise, some system corruption build with the new mask, then some lady death build. I did not play much at all so my build, expertise and game time was lacking a lot

yeah recently did the same, undug the grandma from grave and gave it a go. By dead grandma i mean DIVISION 2. There is still some fun, mostly in DZ, besides the usual grind.
I was never much for pvp, or the raids tbh I always felt like I died instantly and did little damage no matter what build I used but I do miss this game. Back when I had a different job and more time I put a lot of hours of fun into it on ps4. Always grinding for that bit of gear to have the best stats which then didn't seem to help 😂. But I never had the aim to do real high lvl activies in this game or division 1. Me and my friends always got bounced from raid groups pretty quickly. Oh well now I'm a truck driver and haven't been home in 5 months. No time for online games.

@@PHREEEEZY21 Yeah it was good fun just life changed. Wives started drastically limiting the play time of my buddies and work picked up for all of us. They got transfered to new commands with higher rank and responsibilities and I got a second job. Eventually I got my cdl and that was the end of gaming for me. But Divison 1 I put countless hours into solo and with my buddies before the wife crackdowns. Good times.
But got time to watch videos on the game lol 😂

What do you think of the state of the game nowadays? I was an avid Division 1 PVP player, but hated Division 2 PVP at launch, só I didn't play it. do you think it's better now?
It's so broken right now, if they took it back to how it was at launch it would feel amazing lol
Division 2 PvP has always felt very odd, either you died in half a second or you were the tankiest thing in the universe.
I havent played in like 6 months or so, so Idk. Game been in a horrible state when I played then and what I heard now aswell, a lot of issues, bugs etc
To me then adding the expertise system totally fucked the game up. Having to Level Up weapons to Leve 20 just to compete in PVP was a terrible idea. It takes FOREVER to do. And not just the weapons but all the gear level ups.
@@joneseybaby8124 And given all the resources it takes to level up the gear, the returns in bonus armour are pathetic.

I didnt play shooters at that time and I didn't play division 2 specifically for a long time, was just gaming lost ark. So I was really washed, but even if I would get in to it and get good there is a lot of bloom at that range so you wouldn't aim directly for head, more upper chest/head ideally
