- As a girl walks home, not knowing that IT is lurking in the sewers, she comes across something disturbing. Giving into her worry and fear she gets taken by IT, and disappears into the sewer like everyone else who has gone missing.
This is a short film inspired by one of my favorite movies, IT. I wanted to give myself a challenge in making a short cinematic project, using my knowledge I've gained so far about cinematography and VFX. This was shot on my Black Magic Pocket 6K.

THE COLOR GRADING LOOKS 10000000 OUT OF 10. The skin tones are unbeatable. GREAT JOB GUYS!

I was like "ok cool, well shot, good stuff." then that ending shot came on screen and that was really cool and well done!
Haha thank you so much. The ending was one of the hardest things to figure out so I'm glad you liked it!
Really cool stuff guys! This had great shot selection and camera movement. Did you make a dolly?
Glad you're able to get out and stretch your filming muscles. I definitely need that...
Hey dude thank you so much! I just went ahead and bought a Dolly to save the annoyance and hassle of making one😅
Very nice!
Great work, nice movement and grading
Appreciate it!
wow, this was really amazing!
Thank you!
great work !!!
Thank you so much!
OMG THE LENSES AND THE LOOK YOU MADE ARE SO COOl. Please let me know the lenses you used to create those cool characteristics
Think its the Helios 44 f/2
Excellent! Story engagement trumps any camera choice - not that there was anything to pull me out. Kudos!
What an awesome comment thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it(:
Excellent!! The VFX at the end were a little off but the film itself was perfect.
Thank you so much glad you enjoyed it(:
Amazing!
Thank you so much!!
Nice well done! I haven't seen many good short horror films not at least with decent quality. But the visuals and performance was pretty good. Little rough on the Foley audio, but otherwise well done.
Hey thank you glad you enjoyed it! I’ll definitely keep that in mind for next time(: I don’t have much experience in sound mixing but would love to improve on it!
Love the color grade. Can you show us what you did? I watched your other color grade video, did you do anything different on this one?
Hey glad you liked it! Thank you! Yeah this is a totally different technique of color grading it’s a bit more complicated. The other video I showed was a very basic way of grading footage. Maybe I’ll make a more advanced tutorial on color grading. You can Subscribe so you don’t miss out on any of the content I put out. More videos will be out soon!
you are very talented. keep it up bro❤
Thank you so much! Will do!!
Wow! Very nice work and colors!! mind i ask what lenses u used ? Seems anamorph
Looks like Helios, but cropped. The sharp focus in the center, and circular distortion are some of its characteristics.
@@pedropimentel5627 thank you!! So nice of you!! Much obliged
Hold up you killed this! Subbed!
Ayyeeee thank you so much dude!!
Woah! That was awesome! What lenses did you use for this project? It looks like anamorphic, it looks really good! Great work 👍
Hey dude thank you so much! glad you liked it! I actually just used my two basic Rokinon Cine Lenses 16MM and 35MM and then added a DIY anamorphic shape to the back of the lens made out of paper and then in DaVinci Resolve added a bit more anamorphic characteristics like distortion.
@@Sasha.GreenVFX Wow! That’s cool!
Dude I would love to help out on any of your projects if they need any VFX in them I’m always down!
@@Sasha.GreenVFX Thank you! I’ll definitely keep you in mind if anything comes up!
HOWWWWW??? This is good, wtf
Excellent!
Which lenses did you use?
Thank you! Rokinon 16MM & 35MM that were modified to give a slight anamorphic bokeh
@@Sasha.GreenVFX What a work... VERY NICE. And i thought it is shot on anamorphic! :D
@@reyesproductionDK Thank you very much!
veeeeeery nice.
Thank you!
Nice!
Thank You!
nice
cool
Thank you!
Including Are you inspire Indonesian film right
Whao...so...its good but. Its very very good in alot of aspects, but then let down by a few. Its easier if i just do scoring
Cinematography: 10
Mood/Atmosphere: 10
Sound/ sound mixing : 3
Overall story : 3
FX: 9
Its very good and a very good display of how good you can nake things, it just needs a better thing to be made, substance and style. The sound was okish but not on par with the visuals. But honestly overall class well done, 5 bags.😂. I also make short films and know how actual difficult it is to make anything, never mind as good as this. Get in touch of you want to collaborate, otherwise just keep making films, I'll keep watching them. Good work.
Damn the cinematography and color grading made this look like it belongs on Netflix. What lens did you guys use?
Wow thank you so much! We just used two of my basic Rokinon cine lens 16mm & 35mm which are spherical lenses that I then added a paper oval cut out taped to the back of the lens and then in post I added the rest of the anamorphic characteristics like distortion, blur etc!
@@Sasha.GreenVFX damn yeah this definitely came from post and coloring this is amazing💯 definitely a new fan
@@Sasha.GreenVFX Can you elaborate on the paper oval cut? What is it for etc?
@@Cinedon Hey! All the paper oval cut out does is change the shape of what your bokeh will look like. Let me know if that answered your question!
@@Sasha.GreenVFX I had no idea that was even possible, does it not affect footage quality, amount of light going in,..?
how did you get the sewer shot?
nevermind, i checked out your page and theres the BTS lol
Haha no worries! Glad you found the BTS!
Cool camera work and Sound... but the Casting to it does not work. ...
Thank you!
helios used in this?
@@JacquelineKayPhotography-ry2zi No I used my two Rokinon cine lenses that were modified to give characteristics of anamorphic. 16mm - 35mm
@@Sasha.GreenVFX awesome it's beautiful
@@JacquelineKayPhotography-ry2zi Thank you!
@@JacquelineKayPhotography-ry2zi Thank you so much I really appreciate it(:

@@antonzavarzin7208I was gonna say that.
