Love how the first thing Mouse asks is "Has Connor beaten this?" just so she can IMMEDIATELY be smug about beating it before him.
Its actually pretty impressive how fnaf goes from being super creepy in the first few nights to frustrating in the last few
It’s cause it’s super good at building up, but super shit at payoffs. And after you get jumpscared, the jig is up. It’s a game, you die, start over. Really good horror games don’t let you die for that reason.
It turns from a horror game to a strategy game either way its still fun to play (aside from RNG screwing you over)
I can picture it now: Ironmouse calls Mark for tips of how to beat the games, she calls Matpat to learn the lore and story after 4 hours of a long lecture, and gets spammed with over 50 plus FNAF songs by chat.
And also some FNAF 34's by the most degenerate members of chat but it comes with the territory.
Mouse being so confused and trying to figure out the game is so much fun to watch and reminds me of the early days when everyone was trying to figure it out too.

Tip: If you check the stage regularly, freddie will not leave. He has some kind if counter nd checking on it resets it.
When i play i usually only check foxy and the stage, besides that i flick the lights from side to to side.
The Scruffy video about this game's audio is a great listen. Feels like a brain massage.

Chuck E. Chees actually removed the animatronic animals from all their stores right before the game was released!😅
It had nothing to do with FnaF either, it was becoming too expensive to maintain and the grim reality with animatronics in real life is that they are dying out 😢 (and Disney does not count lmao)

It's amazing how even after the scare, FNAF 1 STAYS scary through the whole game. Even the final nights when you're getting frustrated, the design KEEPS you in a state where the scare is just as effective every time. There's no fall off like in other jumpscare games. It starts scary, ends scary, and continues being scary after multiple playthroughs, all because it works with tension, not JUST the jumpscare.
If you play this in VR it’s so much worse😂
That's true for a while but I love seeing videos of people who have been playing for so long they basically just blank stare through the scares.
