    I remember in the olden days, when you could just bring small amounts of taxfree alcohol across the border. My parents and us kids were bringing the Oma to Sweden from Austria, and a customs officer decided to rip the car apart in the middle of the night. She went through bag after bag of dirty clothing, and gave up (perhaps because of tired children wailing) just before she would have discovered a huuuge wine bottle from Italy. Turned out Oma´s bag was also there, full of several liters of Stroh rum.... Close call.

      @@MispronouncedAdventures yea I got you, thanks for explaining 👍🏼. While I’ve got you mate, I need an engine preheater fitted to my van, I don’t suppose you know anywhere that fit them? I watched your install video and the electric side of it is a bit to much for me to do myself.

      It’s unfortunate hard to find a uk company which I’ll do it. If you wanted to buy a kit, you could look at the AutoTerm Flow 5D

    Which Norwegian border station was that?

    • @MispronouncedAdventures
      @MispronouncedAdventures 2 года назад

      Not entirely sure if it had a name. But I went through multiple other Finnish / Norway borders during the trip. Decided I would stop and check but customs would just tell me there was no need to stop and send me on.

      Probably Kivilompolo (between Mounio in Finland and Kautokeino in Norway)

    If you don’t want a dog in your van, you can say that, they are not legal to let a dog in, if you don’t want that ………

      It’s fine with me I can’t make right decision with music all the time correctly on a video I tried something different and it didn’t work out. Generally though for drone footage music is required because there is no audio with the footage

      I don’t think smuggling is the purpose, just the legalities of law and the individuals nationality

    Hey, enjoying your trip vids 😁 what fabric did you use for your window and grill covers please? Thanks!

    • @MispronouncedAdventures

      “Insulated/thermal quilted fabric for window blinds” is sort of the name I looked for. Quite a few different results on Google for the same things
