i think his popularity is the second after yuki kaji, i like matsuoka a lot but from what i see many people more know bout yuku kaji instead of him, but he had many roles like yuki kaji now but i think yuki kaji is more stand up than him cuz he is tsugutsugu senpai
@@yuukiruka3717 certainly Kaji is very popular since he was a newcomer, he is like the boy wonder in the eyes of his senpai, he is good at everything the seiyuu industry require him to do (voice acting itself, radio, live events, TV appearances, singing, interviews, aaand also good looking). He is a natural. Matsuoka on the other hand is very good at acting and is a very straightforward person which feels very realistic and relatable, but no social skills (also relatable lol). In short Kaji is the one loved because is the ideal everyone in the seiyuu industry should follow and Matsuoka is the one loved because he is shy, clumsy but at the same time one of the best actors in the industry. Like Hidaka Rina said a couple of times "he is the type of leader who makes you follow his back"

Kaji is known as a seiyuu that have a truckload of works to the point that he need to come for early recording because he doesn't have time to attend the group recording for all the project he take. Some of matsuoka's close friends always said bout matsuoka having a really tight schedule, so i wonder if he also has become like kaji in that aspect
