Estigmene Acrea Eating a Molt

This species seems to like eating their molted skins, I've noticed it especially before they pupate they will eat a lot of skins. I've been making sure that when I take pupae out of cocoons that I toss the skins back into the bin for the others to eat, to help them cocoon too.
