That's how my beverage company is. It's my 4th week and I wasn't trained at all, but yet they complain it took me too long to do a store. Sorry, don't know the area, don't know the stores, and every day is another new store so wtf you get off telling me I'm slow? Cause I guarantee if we had to physical race, I'd be ahead at the finishing line and he'd be passed out from exhaustion....lol.
Damn right, unless you're paying me well or something there's no reason for me to work that fast. Plus it's fuckin chips. Let's see him do 24 packs of pop bottles or 12 packs of bottled juice.
Exactly! I’ve worked for Frito for a long time. Every new employee who works like this thinks they’re amazing, then they’re gone within one year. He needs more organization and less frantic rushing. This IS NOT ‘productivity at it’s finest’ as the cameraman says. Also... maybe if he weren’t so frantic he could face the can dip...
My training always taught me never to handle merchandise like this because they didnt want the customers to get a inferior product (smashed chips). This guy and I went to two different schools. LOL
Kinda obvious that chips that have been sitting there a week or two would be older than a new box of chips. Unless fritos changed up their preservative recipe lol
He's not rotating. He's assuming the dates are further out than whats already on the shelf. That's not always the case. And all of those chips are broken. If I saw that, I would think he's on speed, I wouldn't just think oh wow he's good.
Anybody can throw bags of chips from one hand to another, and smash all the chips in them to smithereens, and make a ton of unneeded noise. Now let's see how he does with 80 feet / seven shelves high gondola of vegetable cans during a four hour reset. Written by an Acosta - Projects and Resets Team Member.
Only way you’ll see fast soda vendors is if their union contract has them on commission based pay. I know some Pepsi guys who used to knock out 680 cases in 6 hours.
No drugs there are just some people who are self driven, have a hard work ethic, and constantly challenge themselves. Not everyone requires drugs to work and move like that.
I don't work like that, I take my time when I'm putting my chips out and I'm a part time merchandiser plus this guy is at a gas station, I work Walmart's and Kroger's, you can't move that fast in those stores especially when customers are always in the way!!
Hey I know this guy , he used to come to the dollar store and bring in our chips. He was like this everyday every time I saw him , at first I was like “slow down sir” , but that’s just how he works. The chips didn’t get ruined. And he’s pretty cool
My personal critique: * His hands are moving fast, but product is fumbling, so he is not moving accurately. Were he handling glass product, he'd be breaking bottles and jars constantly. * He is dropping the chips and shoving them into each other. He is also throwing boxes down. Chips are fragile, so there are probably a lot of broken chips inside the bags. * A lot of chips he is touching multiple times. I was taught one-and-done. Use both hands and move with purpose. His hands move VERY fast but honestly it really just looks like a lot of shuffling. He grabs 2 bags of chips one at a time and then uses two hands to place them onto the rack. Granted, his hands are quick, but again... multiple points of contact on the same product. * His workplace is pretty messy. I was taught to be organized when stocking. His cardboard is on the floor (slip hazard) and he seems to be taking up the aisle.
I worked for Dr. Pepper and Coke before I worked for Frito. Soft drinks were a lot easier. Way too much repetition with rotating chips considering it's normally 7 -12 a case such a pain.
Yeah, when the pepsi vendor comes, I'll trade him my good jack if I have one so it's easier for him to pull those heavy pallets since mine are way lighter.
That might be a third party merchandiser, and if so he's going so fast because his company only gave him so much time to complete this. If he stays for longer he'll be in trouble. Basically don't get mad at the merchandiser: get mad at his company.
Why work so fast? You know going that fast burns your enegery quicker thus making you more tired out throughout the day. Being quick don't mean jack squat.
He must suffer from ADHD, my first impression. He must be burnt out by the end of his shift. Not worth the exhaustion. Take it down a few hundred notches. I don't think the company cares. Your just a number, just like the bags your tossing.
Yes he is going to condense the leftover product. It helps with cutting down on your backstock. I write my upcs and however many of each product I have on the box so I know exactly what is in each case.
You need to be that fast to work Frito Lay express routes "convenience store routes" because they give you like 75 stores across a 100 mile territory. The other guys with the big accounts have it made in the shade! He will be lucky to get home before dark lol
@@nickwick35 I know a Frito Lays guy at my store that does 60 to 70 hours a week sometimes. He's an account manager for them and they use to be commission based with less hours and more money until Frito Lays cut it. Crazy.
I am amazed by how fast is but another key is smashing those chips and they're easy to smash. I am a merchandiser myself and I make sure I get everything done and that I don't break anything and that I get my hours which but how I signed up for the company I'm working with my 8 hours or more if I could.
I’m in my last week of training as an RSA for Frito Lay. If I did this, my trainer would probably report me to my DSL. Yeah, I’ve learned that a lot of this job has to do with learning to work as quickly and efficiently as possible but this guy is just acting crazy. He’s probably damaging the product, he’s not rotating the stock, and he’s probably causing a bit of a scene in the store. That dude who said this should be a training video for venders… yeah, on what not to do.
No knee pads. Putting empty KD on the floor, thus creating a slip hazard. No real rotation. Excessively distressing the product. Frito should make him a manager!
that explains the crumbled chips
that was exactly my thought
Exactly what I was thinking I wish I knew what store this was. I wouldn't buy there.
Yep!
exactly what i was thinking.
Exactly...he's not fast, he's careless. I can't stand crunched crushed chips..
Yeah he rotates the products but who will rotate the video?!
just press ctrl alt and the down , up , left , or right arrow on the keyboard and it will flip the screen sometimes i make the computer screen upside down or sideways to mess with my friends .
I’m weak lol 😂

Only thing this shows anybody is how to be completely worn out by the end of your work day.
And ger bad knees early.
Some people only have 45min per store though to get everything done
And how to properly crumble the chips in 9 bags out of 10. Who doesn’t like crumble chips?
His day end early it’s a win win 🤷🏽♂️
You just lazy
u crazy, aint nobody gonna work like that.
He’s working faster than everybody else but getting the same pay 😂

Lol imagine walking in as a vendor and being told here watch this " For Training" lmfao im like bye
yeah. i dont want the job..lol...
🤣 I’ve would’ve told them I’m no longer interested
I doubt he checked the expiration dates. Nothing better than a bag of crumbs..mmm. Sound is bad for a shopping customer too.

No dates checked, smashing product, scaring customers, blown out knees at some point down the road!
It's the blown out knees for me
that's the standard, work like your hair is on fire
hahaha
that’s over the top and definitely disturbing to the customers in the store. Not to mention the bags of chips that get all crumbled up in the process
As a vendor myself this is insulting That looks like a bunch of damages to me and to think I always blamed the warehouse for all the broken chips
Not to mention he's not being safe. No knee pads, not keeping his back straight, and he's lifting with his back, twisting his spine and more.
He's acting like hes on drugs!I Would Not use this vid for rest of vendors.

This is why my whole snacks were broken.....
Try keeping a pace like that for 10 to 12 hours, or better yet with coke or Pepsi products. Not bags of air that he almost popped anyway.
air=profit
Now i know why all my fucking chips are broken!!! Lol damn you!!

he prolly bustin the bags lol
All that energy for 1 store and the rest of the day he’s exhausted haha 😂.

Yea no shit it would be slower. Ur talkin about plastic bags vs breakable bottles and cans that can bust.
no knee pads?
I also work as a merchendiser but also dont have knee pads, and no knife and no gloves. And it's fine
that's what happens when you sniff a line before going in the store. I did that so many times
ohhhhahaah that makes sense..
Boy done sniffed like 5 lines before his shift 😂🤣 homeboy glitching and shit 💀
I'm dead 💀 he drunk to many cups of coffee
He gonna pop open some chips like that.. Slow a bit down
In my neighborhood the only customers that would be anywhere near that display would be praying for a baggy of meth to fall out of his pocket.
Meth. Don’t do meth.
Honestly ...if i see this ever happen in a store im walking right TF OUT 😂😂😂😂
Dropped bag minus 10 points, Bags full of air minus 20 points, Broken chips minus 5 points so that's leave you with a total of rip off points
No wonder my chips are always shit with no air
Jesus Christ I’m no expert but I’m pretty sure those chips are probably crushed🧐
It’s not that serious my guy. 40+ years old working a job meant for teenagers
he's crushing all the damn chips is what he's doing lol
He's being a bit careless to be honest. Chips are probably broken inside and idk about his rotation.
I can finally rest easy knowing that this dude was fired for falling asleep in his truck. I hated working with him.
